A.I fandom to me was more than just basketball that’s why he’s my favorite player of all time. I had all his shoes, jerseys, wrist bands, head bands n all lol everything that mfer came out with. Not only was he a beast on the court but off the court too. A.I was like 5’10 (listed 6ft) taking that bum a** 6ers team to the finals that’s more impressive than anything I’ve ever seen a player under 6ft do. Pound for pound the best. He revolutionized 🏀 To me it’s more than championships it’s style of play, personality and what they bring to the game like Jordan, lebron, Dirk, KD, Joker and Curry players that do sh** others haven’t/couldn’t. I Love Jordan he’s close second fav for me but A.I was more relatable for some of us…bro was just different 🫡
The Nets presently have 10 players under contract for the 2024-2025 season: Dennis Schroder, Cam Thomas, Ben Simmons, Cam Johnson, DFS, Dariq Whitehead, DayRon Sharpe, Noah Clowney, Keita Bates-Diop, and Mikal Bridges. We will re-sign Nic Claxton giving us a total of 11. I hope Jalen Wilson and Trendon Watford are resigned also, which would give us a total of 13 under contract for next season. I think Tsai/Marks are sure as hell are not going to do anything that'll make us luxury tax repeaters..Simmons, Schroder, CT, Sharpe, and Diop will be on expiring contracts. For the sake of clarity, lets focus on next season (2024-2025) Claxton is as good as re-signed to an extended contract. Watford, and Wilson should be re-signed because show potential and we don't have any draft picks next season and there's no guarantee that Marks will make any trades to be in it. I think we should "keep our powder dry" and make re-signing CT, after next season, a top priority.. It remain to be seen whether we extend Schroder, Sharpe, and Diop after next season. The one thing that's a certainty and that's we sure as hell aren't going to extend Ben Simmons after next season.
