JV and Nash deserved zero patience. Two of the 5 worse coaches in nba history. Nets made right call canning them. Actually should have canned both much sooner. Nash early into 21-22 and JV after last season.
@@OkNxpp not only did JV almost sabotage Cam Thomas career but also was a fan of playing super small lineups even when we didn’t have the right personnel for it. The game where we played against the suns was my final straw. We were so short that we had Royce O’Neale guarding Nurkic for lengthy periods of time and Nurkic was having a career night on us was the most ridiculous coaching decision I ever seen. Not to mention purposely throwing the bucks game early in the season smh
Jordi has been great with Team Canada, so he is going to do some amazing things with the Nets. I look forward to seeing Jordi coach this Olympics, his future is bright.
Those first round draft picks Sean Marks has from the Suns will grow in value especially if the big 3 experiment breaks up sooner than later.... But if Sean Marks doesn't want to keep them lots of other teams will be interested in potentially acquiring them 😅....
Quite honestly was expecting more with the questions and Sean Marks should have been asked specifically about the coaching process and how that all unfolded.... But Jordi seems excited for this big opportunity but he has a lot on his plate this summer coaching Canada in the Olympics for a month and half and jumping into the deep waters of his first head coaching job is a lot of summer work to get done 😮.... So we'll see if Coach Jordi can rise up to the challenge and help this team establish a real identity 🤔....
@@givingyousportsfrommyview Hey bud. On the BK Hoops podcast I've tried to tell people that Sean has teeter tottered between wanting to bring stars to NY and developing the young core on this team... But he hasn't committed to one direction over the other because he wants all his options on the table so if he does choose one direction, he'll have options to fall back on with the other one.... Brooklyn could choose to keep their powder dry this summer and not go after Donovan Mitchell and wait until 2025 where they'll have between $80-$90 million in cap space.... So Brooklyn does have options but they need to start building a structure that can have some real long term sustainability....
22:18 - Another gem! The Nuggets have The BIG Joker. Sacramento has Sabonis. The Rockets have Sengun. Seems like EVERYBODY on the Nets initiated dribble hand-offs. Making Claxton the primary offensive hub could make us more efficient. 🤔
21:22 - It took this long to find the first useful gem. "Play fast, which allows you to find the best shot and be extremely physical in the regular season." Eh... 🤔
Does Sean Marks want to try to get into this 2024 draft which isn't being highly touted as a top one to try to find a diamond in the rough player maybe in the second round? 🤔...
they need to have patience with and let him grow as HC we cant keep changing coaches every 2 years. lets build something finally

@@OkNxppyeah you’re bugging
I trust this coach.
@qbndorian See how he does after two months of the regular season and see if the trust is still there 😅...
Good luck

Trust has to be earned. Results will show how much you trust him. Lol.

Congrats Coach
The new era is here! Let's go Coach 💪
Enhorabuena, Jordi. Todo mi apoyo desde España. Este entrenador va a dar muchas alegrías a los Brooklyn Nets.
Love it. All together he can bring the Brooklyn Way, we have the talent, youth and cap space for it (even more when Ben leaves)
bright skies ahead with a little patience! Also s/o MC Kustok 🤩😎
Is a kings fan I miss this man already
Let's go Nets! Hoping for the best!

We don’t have a championship team 😂
Coach bring us some stars and a chip pls

WELCOME TO BROOKLYN, COACH JORDI
I'm glad jordi wants claxton on this roster and i hope the nets do re-sign him

we have no picks?
I think that is a good idea
I think Sean Marks got this one right. After picking horrible picks of Nash and JV before.
Just make the Nets competitive and fun to watch again like before they signed those big stars and then when Marks made that terrible trade to Houston.
Keep Dennis Schröder 🎉
Keep Bridges Claxton and Cam Johnson and Cam Thomas
are you crazy
Cam Johnson will likely get shipped off this summer.. Anthony Davis.. Brandon Ingram and Trae Young can end up in Brooklyn this summer
