Been sick for about a year so I had ample time to seek out new things on TV- gave comedy a try. Discovered Richard Ayoade’s Travel Man and Gadget Man and I swear it is better than ___insert any thing here you do to feel better__! Love him and his guests! Owe them some thanks for spending the year with me.

I'm 100% sure Bob and Dick are able to visit every city in the world and not run out of stuff to say. They really gel well.
They are by far my favourite duo. Bob describing his lapsang suchon buckle-suitcase cocktail had me crying with laughter!
I have honestly been using ‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.’ for a few years now because I find it so funny.
I'm so grateful I work from home so I can watch a fresh Ayoade upload in peace lol

He was asked to be a contestant before, but due to filming schedule clash as he was still doing Travel Man, he was unable to be on Taskmaster.

I presume there is at least a cameraperson who accompanied Richard Ayoade and Bob Mortimer on their trip and that is the person who i envy the most

There was no "race" as today in the ancient world. Slavery was based on nationality/tribalism, not race. So, you may well have been a slave owner, Richard, but Dawn would still have been marginalized as a woman...unless she were Spartan.
Or a pirate. Pirates were famously equalatarian about female captains. It is the reason Captains were authorized to marry people

A lot of Richard's humour is him pretending to be a weak loser, so I'm guessing he's saying in ancient Greece he would've been part of the weaker, and therefore defeated, tribe.
