- My amp fuse kept tripping once it got heat soaked after 4 years, so lets replace the 100 amp fuse with a 150 amp unit and see how it goes!

Good option vs basic fuse, but they're temperamental at times. Heavy loads, and heat cause them to malfunction over time, where a fuse normally only needs replaced, when it's popped.
I definitely agree with the heat soak issue as that was my issue.
So if heat is an issue just move it to the inside so you dont have to pull over pop the 2:49 hood and all that im bout to begin playimg with them and um going to put mine inside the cockpit so if it trips i can just restet it and keep going
@@mrortega3852 The whole point of having a fuse or breaker, is for it to be as close to the power supply, as possible.
THE PROBLEM HERE IS BECAUSE IS INSIDE THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WHERE IS TO MUCH HEAT
@@bigotay I've already mentioned that
hello, it seems to be a good idea ,but i have a question. My car is connected to 70Amp battery witch circuit breaker i need : 70Amp or 80 Amp or 100 Amp or 150Amp ?
What are you using the circuit breaker for? That will determine what amp you need to protect what you are powering
I have a basic installation, and i even not have a radio or cooler ,i juste want to concerve and protect all my fuses and avoid any electric problems , i have a old car from 1995
It depends on how much the draw is. If it safely draws 100A, you wouldn’t want a 70A breaker.
@@DariusBuildz thank you for answer.....one of the sellers advise me to put 60 Amp circuit breaker... realy i dont know witch one i schould choose. Any way, if we simulate a short circuit with this 70amp battery , we should give the same current level i.e. 70 amp. but when the car is running , it is impossible to have a short circuit because in the circuit we have a lot of current consumers, add to this the alternator produce not less than 50 Amp, so 50+70 is 120 Amp, and the biggest Fuse that i have is 40 amp. Conclusion 60 amp it should be enough, isn't?
I don’t see any smoking…
lol ..
Car did not explode ….. but be done correctly ..
I’m always looking and smelling on the 1st test just in case 😂
