Tbh the price of this isn't THAT crazy for what it is. A night in a luxury hotel can be around twice that price , and that's without all the food and drinks and the day out etc. Would love to do this someday.
I feel like if she partaked in booze she would have found more fun and worth ££ I mean they keep topped up the whole day!!?! I'm in haha and P.S she really should have tried the strawberry wine not everything tastes like ethanol Grack!
@@breakfastattiffanys741 Even without the alcohol the food looked amazing I think, because they clearly had substitutes. And to be honest your comment seems a bit rude, because she clearly stated that she doesn't like it 🙄. No one needs alcohol.

You could try the Caledonian Sleeper train from London to Scotland! I've always wanted to try an overnight train but I feel like you don't get nearly enough luxury for the price. Such a novelty to sleep on a train though!
I loved this! I would definitely give it a go if I was in England!
Suggestion: I would love some more cheap vs expensive hotels in other towns/cities - like Brighton, Manchester etc
I actually don't think that is vastly expensive. Especially if you drink alcohol. Food and drink prices are high at the moment,and you are paying for the experience.

I grew up in Oxford (in kidlington, which is the train station you got off at) and went to Blenheim palace regularly growing up. It's a perfect place for locals to take kids for a walk and go to the playgrounds, butterfly house, and maze. I definitely took it for granted and love going back now for dog walks when I visit my family, the grounds are wonderful. A lot of my friends worked there too, and we knew some people who were live-in staff. It's an amazing place, and it's such a shame I don't live near it anymore.
This is exactly how I feel! I grew up in east oxford and my granny would often take me and my brothers to Blenheim - this video made me far more grateful for my experiences there!
I absolutely love these type of videos, and I think maybe trying an expensive boat ride or another expensive hotel would be awesome!!!! 🧡

That was so much fun to watch! I would hope they had more non-alcoholic drinks. I wonder how accommodating they are with dietary differences - gluten free and/or vegan? Celiac? You can tell the food part really has me going lol
was just looking on their website because this intrigued me too and I saw that they have plant-based brunch and dinner menus so probably when booking you can give them dietary requirements?
All middle to high end travel caters to dietary needs. Non alcoholic drinks are standard everywhere these days. There’s a world of great alternatives out there. We’re past mineral water these days. One of the girls in the video also said she was served non alcohol drinks non stop.
Their website says
“Are all our meals and drinks included?
While you are on board your meals and drinks, as described in the itinerary, are included. A selected range of alternative alcoholic drinks are also available for purchase.
Can you cater for special dietary requirements such as vegetarian?
Yes. If notified at the time of booking, we will do our best to comply with any dietary requirements. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide meals requiring strict religious observance in preparation.”
They had loads of plant based menus on their menu and they looked amazing so obviously they’re working with all sorts of dietary needs. They can buy anything they can’t fix themselves.
Gluten free and vegan is not odd and unusual these days. I always explain what I can not eat when I book. Be short and specific.
You’d probably love to know that I find it so interesting how I watch & love these types of videos, even though personality wise me and you are complete opposites! I couldn’t think of anything more boring than a train journey, London, touring a palace… BUT I enjoy every single one of your videos and surprisingly loved this! I appreciate how honest you are and I love seeing how much you enjoy the small things in life (or big things like this video!) I just wanted to say, I’ve been watching you for years and we are completely different people and probably have nothing in common, but I love your videos and will continue to watch every single one! Just for context of what I’ve said - I don’t like going around London, I hate museums and anything old fashioned, art galleries bore me, I love alcohol and going out to the pub/with friends… however I love your content and always have done! Keep being you because even people like me who are totally different and can’t relate to things that excite you, I love it regardless!! ❤️
This was incredible! What a wonderful experience! A private car would have been the ultimate, but you would have missed out on meeting the couple across the way. And their chocolates. Would love to see more of that palace.
That train looks incredible! I was just down in Blenheim working as crew for a gig and didn't get to see inside the palace at all so thank you for filming it!

I think it's wonderful value. My friends and I have Christmas lunch on the Northern Belle every year. An analysis of the beautiful food, journey travelled, comfort and wonderful service puts the cost into perspective. I only wish they did more trips from Liverpool. The staff are phenomenal.

£400 for two people for a treat day out like this? Definitely worth it!!! EDIT: Oh wait I just checked the website and it's £400 per person or higher. Eee. Oh well, I'm still bookmarking it mentally as something to do in the future, as I'd have to get down to London first and have someone to go with in order for it to happen, haha!

I would recommend Blenheim at Christmas, they decorate the inside of the Palace and have a lights trail through the gardens, this year the theme is the snow queen ❄
£400 is a bargain for all that! It used to cost me around £180 for the train journey back from Bath to Warrington on a standard cross country train when I was a student (and this was 5 years ago so I can only imagine it’s more expensive now). Trains are so expensive in the U.K. when you’re going from South to North and vice versa. So, I’m actually shocked at the price of this, I was expecting you to say nearer to the £1000 mark to be honest.
Definitely 5 Star luxury which does come with a big price tag. The champagne is VC. Having taking this train on June11th with a steam train which is a lunch meal route I can confirm it was excellent. Service was incredible and worth every penny. Food was excellent, we had the same meal and dessert. Seating was comfortable and the staff were SOO attentive.

If you search CZcams for Blenheim Castle, you will find Cotswold TV has a video//doc on it. Honor is just glowing in this video and you are too. Such a wonderful experience for young people. The palace is fascinating. Someone suggested, and I will second, that you go tour Oxford.

I live about 15/20 mins from
Blenheim place, always go there for a walk and slip through one of the side gates for entry 🤫 If you go back, the village next to it Bladon, Churchill is buried at Bladon church so you can go and see that. Also, may be worth staying in Oxford and having a look around the city, quick bus ride in 👍

Amazing experience. I’d love all those luxury surroundings. If I ever have money to burn……. I’ve been to Blenheim and it is a fantastic place. Have you done ‘personal shopper’ experiences as a comparison between a large department store like Selfridges and then a designer store?
That was very interesting, especially since it's highly unlikely that I'd ever spend the money going, myself.... And this way, I get to experience it, anyway. 🙂
