I agree, "the most unexpected song choices" over the last decade. Some were brilliant and some were weird. I had a good laugh so BoTV get my /thumbs-up
That is why song choice is so important. Of course the judges are tired of hearing the same old songs over and over again but you don't want to pick something that makes them question if you are suitable for the show. The last guy had a great voice but he almost missed his chance. He's lucky Olly is quirky & willing to take a chance. The girl before that didn't get anyone to turn by singing nursery rhymes. Risks definitely pay off better in the early parts of the blind auditions, fewer judges and the ones that are left are often looking for something specific to "round out their team".

Jeanie (Germany) has that voice that is so good for me. I would have turn right away if I am to judge her. And Katerina (Ukraine) is so sweet for me, such angelic voice. Is she a finalist BTW? And the song, oh it's so good. Maybe in this coming decade we can hear a lot of more unique talents. As we battle in this pandemic, may these musics remind us that calmness and sincerity are what people need today. Ciao. 😊😊😊

The most irritating part is that Judges keeps on waiting for their co-judges to turn first.. Like seriously if they want to turn then turn no need for drama 😑😑😠😠

I do believe they are told to do that. It makes for better TV this way.
It's natural though. You constantly seek validation in what ylu do so once the other judges, you feel like your decision has been validated or they are split. Part of them wants to turn and anither part dlesnt or they jave limited spots left to fill and they want to wait to see if the other coach will turn and if not, they might go
I have a theory that they have people that talk to them in their ear pieces and tell them whether or not they’re allowed to turn. I watch the voice kids global and the voice global WAYYY too much, but I can tell you I have seen SO many auditions where the judges are literally LOSING THEIR MINDS over the performance, yet NONE of them turn. OR the very LAST second, one of them is told they can turn if they want, and the last video here is an example of that. Idk it’s a weird theory but I encourage you to watch veryyyyy closely when you’re watching auditions and stuff, you’ll see the frequency of it.

......Song selection is king...I've always said that...After observing many karaoke clubs, it was always WHICH SONG was sung rather than the talent of the singer that carried the day.......But some of these songs are so odd (13:30 mark) they are throwing the judges off and they don't know what to think...

Judges...amazing how they all turn at once to some contestants, even before they open mouth to sing, while they need to hear the whole song and miss to turn to others and then sometimes turn just to say "I'm so sorry"! One of the reasons I'll never be a part of these shows!
