Hi Elizabeth, aw that's wonderful to read - I bet you'll get hooked on collecting them now! I had to get a bigger storage box last year as I'm addicted! I'm guessing that you know what my reaction is Miss Q. Absolutely amazed by everything. As always, you had us smiling at your excitement. Don't know if you spotted them when you were panning the camera around, but we have one of the embroidered Fortnum's cat decorations, he never gets put away, always on permanent display. So many things made us do Princely gasps of wanting things, but the decorations with the toadstools were fabulous. One viewing of your video is just not enough. We shall be watching a few more times. Loved the Christmas cards too, and the advent calendars, and....and....just too many things. xx

Watching from Canada. Makes me wish we lived closer to London. Love the displays. The old vintage themes I love. I sat down and planning my decor for outside and inside. I'm going to have blue/white theme with deer in our front yard. And more. Thx so much. Merry Christmas Queenie.

Hiya - have you seen on the website there are two decorations of the F&M building one is a bauble and the other an embroidery. My fave things from the video - such as the stained glass Holy Family - are not on the website - shame but it saves me money

Queenie, thank you so much for taking us round F&M. We sadly won't get there this year, so you have made our day going round and showing us the delightful Christmas decorations. Wasn't the large sleigh just amazing?!!! I'd have that in a hall way with a tree in it all lit up as if it'd just be brought home. We loved the Marie Sweet ladies head.. OMG!!! Having a quiet September up north, trying to dodge the mosquitos in the garden. Much love ❤️

Like you, I love the Nativity scenes. A lot of stores don't seem to have them anymore, unfortunately. It's my dream to go to London at Christmas but it's too far from Australia.
Oh I know, it's terrible. That's why I tend to grab them when I see them, I think! I'm glad Fortnum's didn't let us down, though :)

I'm SO envious of you Queenie being in London! I used to live in Cheltenham & my Mum and I would go to Bath throughout the year as they had an all year Christmas shop close to the Abbey which was wonderful. I moved to Lancaster to be with my partner 21 years ago & I was over the moon to find a few garden centres close to us that have the most amazing Christmas shops, so I get my fix at this time of year. If you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods, then check out Hayes Garden World in Ambleside (they sell trees all year round) when their Christmas shop opens, & Barton Grange in Garstang - you will not be disappointed! Sadly, the Bath shop closed due to the death of the owner. My partner woud tell everyone it was my Mum's & my mothership LOL
I lived in Bath for a short while and I absolutely ADORED the December 25th shop. So sad that it has closed. I still have all of the ornaments that we bought there. Such happy memories!

I just rewatched this! I have never been in a store/shop remotely similar to this! Our country, 🇨🇦, is not as old! I loved the traditional Nativity sets plus that one you bought. I love purple, l would have had so many in my basket. Also, those traditional cards, gorgeous! I am in awe. I have been having a few really tough days, health wise. I am so glad l popped onto your channel to rewatch! Christmas has always been my favourite time of you. Bless you! I watched your video on, was it Chelsea! Midnight electric ballroom? Queenie, you bring a special meaning to F&M Christmas. I was there in sept( when it was hot!) and of course way too early for Christmas. All the decorations are gorgeous and I was disappointed that the pink baubles and the cookie jar weren’t available on the website. Wish I could fly over for a day to shop but not happening this year.. keep up the good work of entertaining and lifting spirits..maybe it’s your niche! 😊😊
Hi lovely! Do you know, when I started to film the Christmas departments it was still so so warm outside, I found it quite surreal stepping into Christmas. That's why I chose to film later in the day. The evenings gave me a bit more of a festive feeling! Fortnum's aren't great on putting everything online, they'd sell a lot more if they included it all! So glad you enjoyed lovely, hope you're having a great week so far! Qxx

Fortnum and Mason clock
In April 1951, the Canadian businessman W. Garfield Weston acquired the store and became its chairman following a boardroom coup.In 1964, he commissioned a four-ton clock to be installed above the main entrance of the store as a tribute to its founders.
Every hour, 4-foot-high (1.2 m) models of William Fortnum and Hugh Mason emerge and bow to each other, with chimes and 18th-century-style music playing in the background. The chimes were incorporated into Jonathan Dove's orchestral adaptation of Zeb Soanes' children's book Gaspard's Foxtrot, which depicts the clock and its figures.

Your department stores in London are so beautiful. We don’t have anything quite like them in the US.
I love them so much, but they are becoming rare here, too! We've lost a couple of big department stores over the last few years - it makes me so sad to see the beautiful buildings empty :(

I love this shop. I tend to buy shokolates, bus-uits, and or Quin-e Jelly. I love just looking at the pla-e. I don't by mu-h at all

I love the bright and pastels decor, I think it's by Glitterville correct? SO stunning but so unaffordable.
I go back home tomorrow and cannot seem to get from the airport hotel to F & M tonight for my last night. It seems the hotel does NOT have a shuttle to the terminals included, and it would be 100's of £ just to tube or Uber there☹️ I am SO disappointed.

Hi there! Ooo how exciting! I hope you have a brilliant time when you get here. Hmm, from experience, it tends to differ for each store, but Fortnums are quite traditional, so they will likely stay around until 12th Night on the 5th. I wpuld drop them an email to check, though. A lot of high street shops tend to take things down and away very quickly, which is a real shame.

The nativity scene and angel wings were the only religious themed decorations. Make of that what you will. Otherwise that pink sleigh really was stunning 😅

Bring some gifts to children in hospitals.
The constant sharp intakes of breath were nerve wracking. I had to watch with the sound off. Otherwise, beautiful content.
Do you realize there are children living in poverty? Their parents worry themselves to death just to provide food and you go around showing rubbish that costs more than they spend on food. I hope you have a happy Christmas because those children won't.
You've left a similar comment on another of my videos. You told me I should be ashamed of spending my money when there are children starving. By your words, I presume you don't take holidays, buy yourself clothing, treat yourself to takeaways etc etc. We all spend our hard earned money on what we want if we have it. That's the benefit of living in a free country.
You have no idea who I am, what I do for a living or my own familial circumstances. Perhaps you should learn to think twice before you preach.
