    I'm 19 and stacking silver because I'm worried about the way inflation is going and that the collapse of the dollar is closer than ever before I also see other Gen-z's complaining about the price of everything and they don't seem to figure it out that they should be stacking silver I don't even try to tell them because they would most likely call me crazy I just keep it to myself and only worry about myself and my family and friends most of my family think I'm crazy my dad and granmother are only one in my family who don't think I'm crazy my dad told back in 2022 that if things get bad enough that you might need something of value like silver and gold to buy stuff you need

      Be aware, but don't be worried. Also be ready for a crash. The only reason we haven't already seen a major crash (larger than 2008 crash) is irrational optimism. Part is the Dem voters just drinking the cool-aide and part is doom spending. Most people have maxed out all their credit lines, commercial backed real estate is ready to implode, govt just passed laws allowing for the draft of anyone residing in the US, ... everyone just thinks "we will get out of this" without understanding the ferryman always gets his due.
      When investing in yourself, make sure that those around you view you as irreplaceable. When employers, customers, or co-workers can't bear the thought of you going away, it gives you alot of latitude.
      As much as everyone screams about BRICS and the $USD losing status, its still a good way off. I would likely expect it in your lifetime, but its not in the next 4-5 yrs. There's still too much day-to-day business transacted in USD, its still the sweetest turd in the toilet, and there's still too much USTreasuries held by foreign entities.
      Course, if there's major war, everything goes out the window.
      Remember, we became the world standard because of war. Same is true with Britain before us, same is true of Spain before them... Look at what people DO, not what they SAY.
      Your dad sounds like he knows a thing or 2. Its not only gold&silver, its also beans, bandaids & brass.

    Love that Saddle & Hide wallet you have there. I use one of those in the map-pocket of my car to store Goldbacks that I intend to spend. Usually have a dozen ones and maybe a couple of fives in there for when I'm tooling around in NH. If you don't want spotting, focus on getting Maples after 2018 when they started using their "mint shield" tech on 'em. Supposed to have it "cured" but I'm not sure enough time's gone by to say for sure. I think silver will hover between $28+ and $31+ until next summer. Then, I expect it will run in one direction or the other. Up to $36 or down to $22. Depends on who wins the election and how much confidence people have or not.

    I agree with your economic analysis and i too think that $30.00 will become a solid floor. By the way, so called "milk" spots are a defect, and are only found on modern coins from certain mints. They are caused by chemicals or procedures used during minting or annealing, They are not part of the normal, slow tarnishing process of silver. If they bother you (and they sure do bother me!), maybe you can trade your milk spotted coins in for un-spotted ones from a different mint at your LCS by paying a slight premium.

      I don't disagree, but if Trump and a LOT of conservatives get in office, things will cool a bit. Right now I'd be getting some paper metals to play the spike between now & Christmas in addition to physical.
      We saw from Obama to Trump an increase in optimism and a decrease in S&G spot. I'd expect the same to happen again.

    Great video as always, I agree that silver may jump to a 30 dollar floor, I never fall into the hype of hundreds of dollar silver bc it's not a major store of wealth large scale, it's an industrial product. On the flip side with the rising price of everything it wouldn't surprise me to see silver rise just as steadily. I think we might see a small (but steady) increase on silver thru the month of July, then around the beginning of August it's price will lock in wherever it may be at and then it will bounce around there for awhile before making another drastic change...and I think this because of where the U.S. Government is doing away with taxes on precious metals, they are going to try and manipulate the market to where it will rise to a certain price that can compensate them for the tax loss once the rest of the states still paying them stops... the new bill for KY goes into effect Aug 1st

    • @FourNines-silver
      @FourNines-silver  Před 20 dny +1

      @bpp5507 that's all the banks have left is their metals. And the fed is running out of time to print more toilet paper. You can't bail out a system with currency that has no value. So it makes sense that an environment that causes metals to rise would be created. Thanks for watching!

      @FourNines-silver I've only just been introduced to the precious metals scene, so I don't really know much about it. I was just online looking at investments for people who doesn't have retirement options thru employers when gold and silver was suggested to me.
      And I've got to say, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SILVER, always have; but i don't own any. That's going to be changing very soon for me though, I'm just waiting for the new KY bill to go into effect before picking up my first kilo of silver. I really want to start yesterday, but in the commonwealth of KY you are literally paying taxes on the taxes that they tax you here. So it's like being triple taxed!!!!!! Even though my buy-in price might be a little higher when I start, I still feel it'll be worth the wait, to keep my state from taxing me any more than they already do

Once I've done that tho, I was thinking maybe 10oz bars, or 10 of the 1oz rounds every other week after...or do you think maybe it be best if I just stick with bars since it doesn't matter to me if it's pretty or not, as long as it's pure?

    • @FourNines-silver
      @FourNines-silver  Před 20 dny +1

      ill say this. kilos are not as liquid as smaller pieces. and if you were to turn around and attempt to sell it at a shop in the future the dealer may not be as interested in it as they would be a 10 ounce bar. its big and heavy and most stackers would buy a smaller piece before they buy a kilo. and the dealer knows that. a kilo is a lot of weight for one piece. If it were my decision i would buy 10 ounce bars first. Its important to have some divisibility to your stack. that provides you flexibility. in the future if all you needed was an extra $350, it would be a lot better that you have a couple coins and bars to sell instead of just a $1000 plus kilo. Once you have built up a decent amount of divisibility and you're able to sell different amounts if you ever needed to, then would be a good time to purchase a kilo as a large store of wealth. Theres nothing wrong with kilos but for a first piece I dont believe that the best option. Thats just my opinion! Ultimately buy what you like and what makes you happy!

      What do you mean?

    • @Crypt0fin
      @Crypt0fin Před 19 dny

      I see your point but you need to elaborate. The reason silver didn't adjust for inflation is that banks were able to keep it cheap. Now with solar, and new demand from stackers and those who can no longer afford gold, silver is only going to go marching upward. However, what no one says about what really gives the dollar or even silver/stocks/crypto any value is the desire to own it and use the perception of value to an advantage/disadvantage. The real reason that the dollar has value is its ability to be traded widely on a global scale and when a recession hits banks and corporations hoard it thereby having leverage in future transactions. There was a slight deflation of dollar during the 08 recession as just before it inflated marginally. The problem is they released way too much of it during COVID and with illegal migrants has caused the dollar to be hyperinflated.

    • @FourNines-silver
      @FourNines-silver  Před 19 dny +1

      @Crypt0fin What we need is societal and cultural acceptance of precious metals. Pms are not even close to as popular as they used to be here in the untied states. My hope is that the value of precious metals will become widely known in American culture over the next few years. That's one of my biggest goals with this channel is to spread the word to the younger generations. Once that value is recognized, spot will almost grow on its own.

    If Trump gets in (and particularly if he's followed by a good conservative) we'll see silver consolidate a bit lower. Inflation will pause, perhaps even dis-inflation back to 2019 levels. But long term its going to go up. The industrial demand will push on value till we hit $75 (today USD) then industry will really try to find an alternative. If they don't find a replacement value will run high. Just look at gold used in industry.
