    Thank you. I did the Install but had to follow up with your vid. Had to trim some of the end of plug. Good tip and stays on now. lol The stock plug is crap and did not fire up my new Taylor 35. Pay good money and get crap. A Possitive-The MSD is a nice beefy plug. Oh!! Yeah!!

    Nice job! Looking good can't wait to hear that motor fire up. Must be getting close if the gas is mixed.

      Good I'm glad! If you have any more questions or help with anything NITRO or GAS RC Related just ask and I'll do my best to help you out best I could threw a video but if you live near me that would be better then I could help you out in person with your RCs either at my house or at a Bash spot.

      BOTAJELL okay cool thanks I'm in northport Long Island I'll deff probably see you guys bashing one day if you go to deer park but also if you're ever interested in checking out casamento park in bay shore at the beach of the park is a little trail and it is short but it opens up into a sick dirt pit with jumps and turns and everything like that

      BOTAJELL okay cool I'll send u an email. Also I have 6 unopened gallons of nitro is it okay in the card board box or should I get something else to store it on in this cold weather

    • @BOTAJELL
      @BOTAJELL  Před 7 lety +1

      Haha Hell Yea Bro!!! Did you say 6 gallons?? lol !! That's what I'm talking about bro!!! You must be a hands on guy and a hater of the fake shit hahaha!! Bro that's music to my ears... keep them closed and away from heat and sunlight !! It's ok to keep them in a cold garage away from light but never in a hot garage! I just keep my shit Nitro fuel in my garage or or fuel that was opened for to long and my friends give me there old fuel and I'll mix'em all up and I'll even ad some extra Castor oil and I will use that to break in new motors only! NITRO fuel will last a very long time if stored properly. I always have 3 cases of BYRONS 30% NITRO with a 11%Oil that has a 50/50 mix of castor and synthetic oils on hand all the time. I get gallons and quarts once in a wile because you can use the quarts as a carry fuel bottle . I give them out to my friends to help them out a little. I like to keep my fuel in the cardboard boxs in a dry place in the dark at room temperature at all times like a closet in my basement .

      For me it's a lot of fun because I love working on NITRO and GAS RCs!! All I wish that I could have is more time! There's not enough time in a day for me lol! Pepole tell me not to work late all the time and never do weekends but if I do that I won't be able to be in this Hobby !! Sad But True!!!!

    I agree on your fuel choice and I absolutely agree with amsoil 2t seeing that is what I use, I also agree with adding a little fuel to the mixing cup to retrieve all of the oil. Of course you will not over heat, that is all dependent on your jetting and doing proper plug chops to confirm you are at the correct stoichiometric mixture. You see, I have these debates all of the time, even with my customers after I give them there bikes/quads back. As soon as they here how I want them to mix there fuel they are instantly up in arms and insists on mixing it with more oil. I just point them to macDizzy post and the banshee hq on the subject and hope they get it. I go by true science and stats not what I think is better or what works but what is proven to be the best way to mix fuel on initial start up. As you can tell, you have had no issues with the way you mix your fuel and I have never had a bike/quad come back to be from a customer in over twelve years. Yes you can mix the fuel with more oil but if you think and I mean really think about it, it’s not really necessary especially when you consider synthetic 2t oils. Even amsoil says on there website that you can mix there oil at 50:1 and not have an issue. Furthermore, amsoil dominator is not a TC-W3 type oil, so if you store you engine with this oil it will most likely rust the inside of your engine. When I store freshly rebuilt motors I use klotz r50. Dominator is also recommended that it not be used in alcohol or nitro fuels mixes.
    I’m glad to see other gear heads like my self, I also like to give fellow gear heads the best information possible and let them do some background searching for them self’s so that hopefully they make the right decisions, then again there are a lot of stubborn people out there and (this) sharing information doesn’t always work, but hey I got to try right?

    I disagree on the premix info you gave. I have been rebuilding two stroke mx bikes for my whole life and have done extensive research into this very topic, I can tell you for a fact that over oiling on break in is a big mistake. By adding more oil your actually leaning the mixture and can over heat the engine if your running the original jets that you ran when you were mixing at a higher ratio. The ratio your going to run after break in should also be the ratio you use during break in. All the oil is for, is to lubricate the bearings, it is the fuel that keeps the engine cool. The bearings in two stroke motors are ball bearings and needle bearings, requiring only minimal oil to operate efficiently and to keep the friction to a minimum. Adding more oil really doesn’t lube the bearings any better and only leans out the mixture and gums up plugs. But hey this is just my opinion, in the end it is your engine.

      4g63T 1G that's cool bro I appreciate your opinion!! 100% but I have done many 2 stroke motors this way and have great results always I kid you not! I have proof of everything I am saying! I even did my Crazy Twin Banshee motors this way back in my ATV days but back to these little motors I still have my 7 year old 4 Bolt Modded G290 motor runs great today and my past motors that I did for some friends still run today and my Full Mod Reedcase OBR still runs great and Many more Zen and CY engines. Soon you will see me do my SkoPod 62 cc motor same way!! Believe me none of my engines ever over heat ! Not my Gas ⛽️ engines and not my NITRO engines! I'm on them with temp guns in the beginning and I my problem most of the time is that I don't have enough heat!! Because I believe in heat cycling an engine during the break in process so I Usually have to heat it more with a heat gun to keep the temps up!! After every break in I do I install a new spark plug or Glow plug . Soon you will also see me build a engine with special ported parts and modifications and when completed it will be the same way I did all my others that I've had great results with from what I have seen for my friends and myself. Thanks for your opinion anyways I mean no disrespect and I wish there were more guys like us nowadays because guys like us that are motor heads are becoming extinct with all that fake electric gay shit that I cannot stand!!! Take care and thanks for stopping by!!

      not only that to much oil on break in doesemt allow for the hone marks in the cylinder to properly wear in the rings. you actually want wear on a new engine so that all moving parts mate and live happily tiogether

    Hi buddy, hope you're doing well!? I have a question, here in Sweden we have 95 and 98 octane, can I run 95 octane in a 2 stroke engine with the Dominator 2 stroke oil 28/1 mix?

    Nice! Does the msd wire work on rovan motors

    • @BOTAJELL
      @BOTAJELL  Před 6 lety +1

      Levi Hogge sure it will! You can even install the higher voltage coils that have the red boot on them. Most ZENOAHs engines use them and you can use them on your Rovan engines.

    Im curious as to why the MSD wire isn't packaged in MSD packaging? Is someone in their basement cutting up generic wires and putting on MSD boots you can buy online and passing them off as a genuine officially licensed msd product? Every single MSD wire I have ever bought at any store in person or online was packaged in MSD packaging. NEVER in third party labeled packaging...I think Craft Werk is doing some shady things...

    • @BOTAJELL
      @BOTAJELL  Před 7 lety

      Lol! Bro I thought the same Fn thing! I used to race and street race cars and I've had Accel and MSD . All my ignition system is MSD from the Boxes to the Diga set boxes to wires and every box says MSD! But I guess Craft Works Racing beat us to that idea for the Gas RC world! The wire is all MSD not just the boot. Craft works also sells other things as well.
