This dude should have more subs than Jeremy. He seems to know just as much as Jeremy does, but he gives off much better vibes
I disagree. Jeremy's technical knowledge and presentation is by far the worst among fragrance reviewers. The only thing that he's good at is doling out mass appealing, overly simplistic videos with above average production quality. Anyone with decent experience with fragrance will never take Jeremy seriously. I also despise the sexual angle Jeremy has on perfumes.
On the other hand. Ashton is quite like able. I love his deadpan delivery and 'homeboy' vibes. Plus, he is not a downright niche fragrance snob like most other reviewers (case in point, this video).

Speaking as a layman, I think Jeremy is an okay source for information, but he has a pretentious and dramatic vibe that I dislike. He put out one video that I still remember to this day where he does his trademark clap and spin intro, then stared at you for 30 seconds, says he was too shaken and intense from whatever, and then does it again before starting the video.
Cut the BS and get straight to the point, damn it.
But is he also a sellout hack fraud? No? There you got the reason for his unsuccessful channel.
As always, another great review Ashton. Can’t wait to get my nose onto this flanker. The original is in my top 5 designer list of all time.

Acqua Di Gio is one of my favorite all time scents. I enjoy Essenza and Profumo. However, I've yet to smell Absolute or this newest flanker. You've peaked my interest!

This one caught my attention few days ago as I was out trying out some new scents like the new PROFUNDO and I agree with you when you say PROFUMO has been a little played out. This Absolu Instinct., at least in my opinion, was a significant difference from the original Aqua Di Gio which to date is the only Aqua I have in my collection, but that’s going to change very soon as I do plan to head back and grab ABSOLU INSTINCT before it vanishes like Essenza did.
Dark woody with a hint of smokiness, close to my skin. Love this one!
This is the first AdG flanker Ive been interested in since Profumo. This one looks like a "must buy". Definitely enter me in the decant giveaway. Looking forward to trying this one. Aqua Di Gio is like that old pair of jeans that you refuse to get rid of, no matter how many different fragrances I try I still come back to the original or one of the flankers and have since 2002! I would love a decant to try it out!
Oh damn Portugal being shout out!! HELL YEAH!! haha. I was gonna comment that here you can get it in retailers for under 60€ so you don't wanna play 90 bucks on it. I'm actually surprised this was so cheap! I'm sure it's gonna do well here since freshies always sell a lot.

Honestly this was an amazing review/video. You couldn't be any more specific on describing this fragrance. I totally understand what you were saying about just putting out a fragrance that good and it's going to get compliments. To be honest that's me though lol. Love to smell nice and get compliments. I. The last year 2018 I've gotten into nice fragrances. Parfum de Marley Layton and Oajan, Baccarat, cruz de sur II , and Al Contrario that I have bought and gotten as gift. Of course I bought decants to make sure I like these fragrances but I always go back to my designers and flankers. Again good video can't wait to try this fragrance.

Honestly I think you have some of the most researched and honest information that I have found on the topic but I feel the videos get to be a little dull because it's too much information sometimes. I think people want a scent vs scent or a different girl giving her ratings on top of the explanation so we can narrow down what generally is going to get the most attention. I think you have a ton of potential and are making some good videos none the less.

Thanks for the explanation of amber wood. No wonder I don't like it--I can't stand ambergris or ambroxan, especially when it's nuclear levels in cologne, which it generally is. I assume there are quality differences in amber wood because I know when I smelled some of the fragrances you listed I get a distinctly 'cheap' undertone to them and wonder if it's the amber wood causing that.
Put me in please!! I live in Canada though, so maybe that is an issue?. Either way great vid Ashton and keep up the great reviews.

I have no problems with flankers as long as they smell good to my nose, it's all good for me :) I do like this one, but I guess I haven't tired of AdG so I still like Profumo and this one. Both are nice. I think absolu is my least favourite for sure though now that I've really smelled them all, except Essenza.

Original aqua di gio reminds me of my uncle, he had it and I loved it when i first smelled it. This was in 04 and i was wearing the original curve at the time.

I got mine from sweet care about a week ago. The ADG DNA is more apparent in this one then the original Absolu and it's not as sweet. Basically a more woody and marine aquatic Absolu and probably what it should have been in the first place.
