We finally bought one and we've pu1,200+ miles on it in less than a month! Due to health issues, I can no longer balance my Goldwing (I hate that because I love that bike) so in my research I put my sights on the Spyder! I even went after groceries with it yesterday! Bad news for the Harley Davidson dealership because they have been bugging me to buy one model that they have that I really dislike! Ride on Spyder lovers, Ride on!
The 2024's are nice, but IMO, not enough to have kept me from buying my 2023. I don't "Apple" anything, I'm in the android camp, so the display is wasted on me. The LED headlights are an "about time" change, but nothing youtubers have taught everyone how to get LEDs for cheap.for the older model. With interest rates like they are and the price hike for the 2024 over the 2023 doesn't make much sense. I love those colors on the new Spyder. Looking forward to new videos.
Agree... That's why I got the 2023 model... Sadly, BRP took away the fog lights for the 2024... Wonder if that was a trade-off for the LED lights? 🤷♀️
You look pretty happy 😊. We have 2024 RT. I found out if you twist the throttle fwd it will disengage the cruise as well. Enjoy. Can’t wait yo see your upcoming trips.

I just got a new 2023 RT limited. I have to rase the set to put gas in it. As I look at the F3 is that silver looking thing above the seat the gas filler?
It sure is the gas filler. That was the thing that sold me on buying the 2023 F3 Limited SS over buying the RT Limited. Either bike is truthfully winning in my book. Spyder life forever 😁😁
The electronics on the sea of sky and all RTs are the exact same as the F3’s. The difference is really all about size and extra storage! Check my videos, I’ve done a recent review video on the comparison between the F3 and RT.
Yes , I’ve seen it and most of your videos. I’m going to sit on both and see how it “feels”. I like the upgrades of the 24 especially the change in set up of the start and reverse . I took my 2018 to Alaska last year... The rough unpaved roads in the Yukon and some in Alaska were hard to navigate... I did it but I had to go very slowly because of the low ground clearance of the Spyder...
@@RykerRydes I've tried to get quotes for out the door prices from 2 dealers on an F3S and a Sea to Sky and neither could be bothered to get me anything so I haven't purchased anything yet.
I really wish i got one of these instead of the ryker. After owning one for 3 yrs theres alot of stuff i don't like about it. Really liking that color of the 2024

The cruise control in my car will come off with a the break OR the gas. When I am on the freeway, which is where I am more likely to use my cruise control, I don't really want to hit my break to come out of cruise. I wish they would have had the break OR the throttle bring it out of cruise control. That would have been better....
Bells and whistles don't make a vehicle better , but the same design and engine isn't going to make me go out and get another spyder. When you buy spyders it's about Comfort traveling enjoying the ride going down the road. And the apple carplay is overrated from my understanding a lot of people having problem connecting to the display.
I am personally not trying to sell Can Ams. I am just trying to let people know the differences so everyone can make educated decisions. Thank you for watching.

Just received an email and the update for Apple Car Play. It installed via wifi without an issue. Initial test seems to work out pretty well.

For the Cruise control. You can roll the throttle forward and it will disengage the cruise control as well. (I have a 2024 RTL)

Did Can Am upgrade the rear trunk lift hydraulic rod so the lid doesn't fall down ?
Not that I’m aware of! But I, personally, have never had the lid of the rare trunk fall down.

So is the antennae on the newer model something that needs to be purchased, or is it just hidden, or smaller, like the antennae on the newer cars?
I believe the antenna is now internal? I’d have to verify that. But it is definitely not something you would need to purchase afterwords.
