When you teased this video, I thought it would be a scathing critique on existing anime games but instead it became "Lex actually wants to be a game dev". Love to see you express yourself in new ways in videos like this
itâd be too easy to just shit on existing games. I had way more fun pitching my own
@@Lextorias really like this style
Kinda reminds of me nakey jakey
The Devs of the Yakuza series would be a cool studio to take on your Chainsaw Man idea.
The goofy serious mix that Yakuza pulls fits CSM really well plus they just know how to capture 1990s Japan. Personally Iâm not even a fan of MK but god would Denji make a great Mortal Kombat guest character.
I always thought they could make a good Gintama game. Being able to explore Edo as Gintoki, taking on side quests in the form of âodd jobs,â pulling off unique gag based special attacks. I think itâd just work real well.
@@dig1taltoaster mid
god that would be fucking amazing
I've just been thinking the devs of dmc, the way he describes it is very similar from what I know. (I touched dmc like once... 6-some years ago. But I've also seen and heard some stuff (not much) about dmc5)
Speaking as one of the 10% of anime fans that isn't a gamer, I really want to play these ideas of yours.
There's a lot of potential for anime games if a bigger studio took on one of them. I have played smaller licensed anime games, but they're mostly dialed down basic re-skins of other successful games or phoned in cash grabs
*cough cough* so many damned Naruto games *cough cough*
I want more fighting games with an anime IP.
Considering the amount of money that the haikyuu fandom spends for even a smidge of content or merch, I think itâs a crime a haikyuu volleyball game doesnât exist already. Iâve spent a frightening amount of money on merch for it. People would easily spend 70 dollars on a game. BELIEVE IT.
The crazy thing is the game he describes sounds like a 2k game. You can stick to the typical american style sports game. Ease up on microtransactions and really go hard on the style points to really match the aesthetic of an anime game.
I havent played a sports game since like madden 08 because of how garbage theyve gotten. I genuinely need a good sports game and would pay good money for one in the haikyuu universe.
My friend was telling me how some of the "big name, bad execution" games come from companies with executives that are out of touch with the material, so they literally need "Lingo translators" for the executives. That may be why so many anime games "miss" so much. All of these sound amazing and I half hope a bunch of indie game designers can actually collab with you. Maybe a fan sourced game project can be started? I wish I was software, not hard ware, because I'd totally be on that team if I could.
I couldn't help but share as well, for the beserk game, the revive mechanic could be based on someone retelling a story. When The Player dies, the story teller goes "No, wait, that doesn't sound right, it didn't happen like that. Let me go back and try again", so it's the story teller backtracking at previous "check points".
This could work like the dream sequence, each time he wakes up from rest, because he's dreaming of the possible way it could have gone, but didn't, so when he goes back to sleep, he's restarting where he last recalls it was how it was. He's "well rested" when he reaches the camp site he had settled at and wakes up.
Lex, you're one of my most looked forward to subscriptions. You keep making some absolute bangers. Thank you for all that you do!
I actually seen the storyteller messing up and misremembering things being implemented before
I don't remember the name of the game unfortunately
@@Azure9577 I think it was prince of persia
@@ultimatebro5719 probably not
I only played warriors within so I don't know
Katana zero has that mechanic (sort of)
But it isn't the one I was thinking about
@@Azure9577 could it be Bastion?
That Cowboy Bebop idea is so fire that if no one makes it I'll freaking make it myself
i think other than obsidian, cdprojektred could do a good cowboy bebop game, similar in style to cyberpunk, if they actually put the time to finish it this time
I want a Jojo game made by the Yakuza devs, they did really well with Fist of the North Star. A game for each part would be sick
Also Yakuzaâs minigame styles works with special battles like DâArby.
@@corrinflakes9659 yes yes yes
Ive been saying it for years now, a game loosely based in morioh cho from part 4 or 8, because RGG do single hub worldâs really well, they could even
FromSoft berserk would be so amazing
Your idea of a Berserk game being a story of Guts's life actually fits perfectly into the Corridor of Dreams mini-arc. The game is being told from the perspective of Shierke and Farnesse looking through Casca's memories of Guts, which the player will control, and each time you make a significant achievement you collect a piece of Casca's psyche.
I think my ideal Anime Game is a Legend of the Galactic Heroes strategy game with the level of detail you see in the most grognardy of hex based historical wargames. Gary Grigsby's War in the Stars, if you will. I think it's a good way to capture the sheer scale the show operates at. It's a genre that is definitely niche, but oh well.
I think there were a couple strategy games made based on the show, but finding English-language info about them is... tough.
So suikoden but but legend of the galactic heroes theme
if we get another fullmetal alchemist action JRPG, i want a dedicated 'don't call me short' button
Iâve always thought they should make a video game based on the Hunter x Hunter Greed Island arc
This was a fun video! As a game dev myself, hearing ppl talk about game ideas is always fun to hear, albeit funny to think about considering how hard some of these would be to make. The mechanics are doable, sure, but the hard part would be acquiring the IP, hard bc japan has their IPs on a vice grip. ie just look at Nintendo.
But yeah, fun vid!
Japanese IP law is nearly impossible to navigate, but one can only hope that it gets better so we can see some cool crossovers and games.
Nice to see you blowing up bro. Can't believe I found you somewhere around 7-800 subs and now you're humongous, keep up the awesome content
I think an open world air gear game would be amazing.
Gintama game from the Yakuza guys. They've already done Fist of the North Star, and while that game's pretty fun, Gintama's a way better fit for the Yakuza treatment, both tonally and structurally.
Not gonna lie this video is a W
Hopefully one day we can get a good anime based games that arenât cringe
I think that Trigger recently proved that turning games into anime can be actually an incredibly amazing venture.
Though it WAS made by Trigger and I don't know if another animation studio would have made Edgerunners as good as Trigger did.
Iâve had an idea for a Sailor Moon game cooking in my head for awhile, now. From what I can tell, the games built for this series primarily consist of fighting games, beat âem ups, and the occasional minigame collection. Iâd like to see a full-on Persona-style JRPG game, where the characters live their daily lives and still have to fight minions summoned by a New Threat (working title). The catch, though, is that the lead character *isnât* Usagi/Serena-itâs a new girl with amnesia, who can transform into a Sailor Scout too, but her magical self doesnât have a concrete set of abilities the way the others do. Instead, she can pick her abilities from a variety of elements, and she always has the ability to heal (sheâs also customizable in appearance and outfit). The Sailor Scouts have skill trees to unlock their powers, and the player can choose which ones they want on their team of five or six whenever thereâs downtime. The New Threat seems more focused on the new girl, and the Sailor Scouts do their best to protect her while getting to know her, with the goal of figuring out just what is going on here. Ultimately sheâs discovered to be Sailor Celestial, a Scout from an alternate dimension who, during her battle with the New Threat, was catapulted across dimensions, losing her memory from the shock of the explosion. The current New Threat is a combination of the one responsible for her sudden displacement and the Scouts that once accompanied her, now corrupted but still driven to find her, their dimensionâs equivalent of Sailor Moon. At that point, the game changes its goals to purifying and saving the corrupted Scouts, defeating the New Threat, and figuring out a way for them to go back home. Ultimately Celestial and Moon must team up to make things right, in one spectacular final battle that ends the New Threat forever.
A open world game in one piece universe , taking inspiration from black flag and sea of thieves would be pretty cool
I think Atlus would make a really good Chainsaw Man game. It could be similar to Shin Megami Tensei. As you battle devils, you form contracts with them and gain new abilities.
Also I think Capcom would make a great Jujutsu Kaisen game that functions similar to Monster Hunter. You accept contracts to take on different grade curses and then track them down to fight in a semi-open world.
*Atlus.
that jjk monster hunter style game would be amazing... if only
Another idea for FMA would be a MMORPG. The idea of creating your one alchemist and getting better at alchemy would work really well in my opinion. I feel Square Enix would make it well if they base it on FFXIV
I had ideas for MMOs for quite a few games (HxH being top of my list). But they fell into the territory of "unrealistically ambitious", and I wanted to keep my ideas somewhat grounded.
Tbh really good ideas, especially how they tie in with what we can see in those shows. And we already have a good Berserk game, Berserk Millennium Empire Arc: Chapter of the Holy Demon War, only released in Japan, but still the best one.
Guts has the brand of sacrifice so when he dies instead of just fading away they can have the souls of the damned pull him into hell and it could say âyou did not escape the brandâ
I had a video idea for you Lex, personally I've been watching a lot of trophy/achievement videos lately, sometimes it's getting all trophies to then get a platinum on a game from creators like Nick AR and Tanner Jaye, or it's very specific achievements like the hardest achievement on Dead Space 2 by Snamwiches, who only hunts for one very specific and hard achievement to get.
I thought it would make for an interesting video talking about trophies and achievements, which you prefer, if you like going for them yourself and what makes a good achievement/trophy on a game, I feel as though some games get it wrong, Resident Evil games really encourage you to play in a different way then you normally would through the achievements/trophies for example, I really wish more games would have similar things to this for achievements/trophies.
That's a good idea! I'll add it to my list
Awesome video, reminds me of a good debate that breaks out between the last folks standing at a party at like 2:30 in the morning
I want a Berserk game so bad, honestly
Not something like the Berserk warriors game, but something closer to the PS2 game, if anyone ever heard if it.
Basically it's almost like a character action game, but that's kind of a stretch, a more proper way to call it would be a beat 'em up.
I really want to see that concept expanded on, with more playable characters and more of the manga covered.
Imagine playing as Griffith as if he was an unlockable character like Vergil in DMC3 Special Edition, that would be fire. Or the other characters like Serpico or Isidoro, hell maybe even Skull Knight, but alas, a man can dream.
A Berserk game has incredible amount of potential to be absolutely incredible, yet there's so very few of them
Fromsoft would be the best studio for a berserk game
The souls games are heavily influenced by berserk with many references to the manga
â@GamerMc-ey4iy If not Fromsoft, then I could see the guys who made Dragon's Dogma making something great too. Conveniently Dragon's Dogma also has Berserk references.
I always saw the best Jojo's game similar to the old Assassin's Creed Brotherhood multiplayer with turn-based Isometric gameplay for more options for stand use, each turn has one player hunts the other on a best of 3 match, both players change characters (and stands) every round and some crazy stuff can change up each battle (cops can interrupt the fight if its in public and takes too long, a stand arrow can be hidden on the map, one player can chose an underpowered stand and get hamon or spin powers, etc...)
Also a spin on the no revives last stand on the end of Titanfall battles for a Tokyo Ghoul game could be interesting
Quite literally, the only reason I clicked on this was for Berserk and to make sure you said something about souls. But, every one of these sounds great!
While not an anime per se:
All I want for every christmas ever is a RWBY game with basically all Kingdom Hearts 1 mechanics. Weapon/Equip improvement, skills, collecting and crafting, companions ect. Just switch the worlds with areas and heartless with grimm, mix in some persona relationship stuff and you are done. Even Pokemon XDs worldmap would be sufficient with points of interest relating to your story progression.
There also could be a drop-in mechanic to play your current party with up to 4 friends.
I know there is a hacky slashy rwby coop game, but its not really good
A bepop game made by the devs of eve online would also be fantastic
While it's not very widely known, I would love to see the Zoids franchise get an online battle game that basically takes the premise of the New Century Zero anime and uses a lot of what was established in that series for its mechanics. What fascinates me about Zoids that has not been expanded on nearly enough in more media are the wide variety of Zoids based on different animals, all with their own specialties, as well as the potential for customization. You could start out by choosing your first Zoid, and from there you can use prize money from battles to buy custom parts from shops and even other Zoids. You would also be able to create your own team with friends online. Just like the anime, there would be a ranking system, different battle modes with their own rules, and maybe even some real-time scheduled special events. Heck, even the Backdraft Group could be worked in, as every fight you enter has a certain percent chance to be hijacked by the organization, turning the match from team-vs-team for a combined effort trying to take down a group of Zoids or a big boss, like the Elephander or Berserk Fury. These hijacked events could also have higher rewards, as the group in the anime often offers a higher amount of prize money if they can be beaten. As for actual combat mechanics (which I am no expert in designing), I'd want something complex, fast-paced, but also based in strategy. Because of the open map battlefields, you'd be free to organize with your team and position yourselves for all sorts of strategies, like ambushes or having someone with long-range artillery support from a distance. I doubt something like this would ever get made, or even end up good at all. It'd be a highly ambitious project with a lot of working parts and precise planning to have it all work together, but there is so much potential for a Zoids game like this, just only based off of one anime in the franchise.
All of these ideas would be banger.
My worry is if they were made who would I want to make them? Would they fuck it up? Probably.
Great video gamer. Hope more people watch this cause it definitely creates a dope conversation.
A weird idea I had was a Jojo rpg with a similar battle system to Live A Live, a short of hybrid tactics - classic Final Fantasy timed turns combat system that recreates the strategy that makes Jojo fights great.
These are all good choices
Maybe a 2d metroidvania anime game would be cool?
Imagine Ori and the will of the wisp but
Made in Abyss?
Anyway The Berserk game NEEDS to happen no matter what
Your description of your JoJo concept as a point-and-click adventure came across as too static for me, but made me think of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (made by Capcom who had the JoJo license before Bandai Namco). Going for interactive and timing-based puzzle gameplay could further elevate the tension building during an enemy Stand encounter. I can picture Araki and Shu Takumi (writer of GT and the Ace Attourney series) sitting together and coming up with amazing Stand-based puzzle mechanics and scenarios.
Hey Lextorias don't forget these great anime that should be made into games!:

- My Life as Inukai-sans' Dog
- School Days
- Futoku No Guild
- High School DXD
- Grave of the Fireflies
Hope you agree dude! Love the content!

Oh no...
There's a Cowboy Bebop table top game on kickstarter right now and it's pretty close to what you pitched, so definitely a viable concept
I think the unfortunate truth is that in most cases, game mechanics would detract from the things we like about anime and the constraints of trying to honor the anime would detract from game mechanics. Beyond IP law, I think there's a reason that Platinum made Bayonetta and not Kill La Kill, FromSoft made Dark Souls and not Berserk, Blizzard made Overwatch and not MHA. I fully understand the desire to see a thing you like in as many forms as possible (speaking as someone who one of the first things I bought off the internet was a deck of DBZ playing cards 20-something years ago), but it is generally a good thing that we do not see a lot of crossover between mediums. Most pieces of art resonate with us specifically because they complement the medium they are made with.
As we've seen with things like the MCU, it's possible for IP to cross mediums and be wildly successful, but it's rare and really, really hard.
I agree that it's very difficult to adapt something to a new medium, and not everything should be adapted. But I think to say it's a "good thing we don't see a lot of crossovers" is a bit too pessimistic. Because there are plenty of good examples like Spider-Man PS4 or Dragon Ball FighterZ, that while being the rare exception, are still plenty worth it.
The vast majority of crossover games that fail have blatant issues with lack of budget, time, or thought put in. So I don't think we should come to the conclusion that there's some impenetrable barrier between the mediums before we at least see proper attempts to cross over. Because, like you bring up, people thought successful comic book movies were nearly impossible before they became the most popular form of media ever made.
the bebop game sounds like new vegas + the outer worlds and honestly im here for it
I withheld my like until the end of the video, where I normally just like people I follow automatically, because I was real hesitant about what these ideas would look like, but you know, I really liked a lot of them/most of them, and when I saw that you were going to cover Berserk, I immediately thought "Gonna be Dark Souls."
you: "Souls-like"
"Yep. Dark Souls. Would have to be."
But mentioning Sekiro as inspiration didn't even cross my mind, good call.
Well done. Put that unfinished game development degree to good use đ
But actually. Good stuff. I'd be happy to see more of these ideas, and if they ever got used, I'd want you to either get the credit you deserved or a job you wanted out of it (Unlikely, but I'd like to believe it was possible anyways)
We need more anime games.
* We need more *good* anime games.
Agreed.
I don't think you even watched the video
Worst takeaway you could've chosen
an cowboy bebop game made by obsidian would be jaw dropping
So, not only are your ideas really good but, you also chose some of the best animeâs which just happen to include a few of my favourites. Nice! đđ
Good video as always. I'm so glad I found this channel
Funny I immediately thought of Disco Elysium when you said a Cowboy Bebop. Personally I would love a Jujutsu Kaisen Fighting game made by Arc System Works.
Or have NetherRealm Studios to be the ones who can make this Game.
@@maxleon61702 actually on the topic of NetherRealm Iâve always thought Denji would go hard as a Mortal Kombat guest character.
@@dig1taltoastermy mate, yep.
@@dig1taltoaster I think NRS would have a VERY fun time with denji if they got the go ahead. I mean look at what they made with Joker and Predator, they were filled with ideas and executed perfectly on.
An idea I have off the top of my head is make denji very aggressive. Since he needs blood to stay alive and heal, I'm thinking that if he does these crazy long and stylish combos, the stronger he gets as the match progresses. But if he gets attacked he gets weaker and weaker.
It'll actively promote to close that gap and be a really cool matchup for NRS to implement since they've been working with more and more zoners.
If we can get good Comic Book/Graphic Novel Video Games like Rocksteadyâs Batman and Insomniacâs Spider-Man, we can get good Anime/Manga Video Games. The possibilities are endless.
Imagine From Softwareâs Berserk, Platinum Gamesâ Chainsaw Man, Kojima Productionâs Fullmetal Alchemist, etc.
And a PreCure-themed Power Stone too.
Thinking of slicing off opponents clothing has got me cackling
This is a very fun and creative video and it's interesting to hear your ideas and I do love them, you are creative.
I especially love this because I want to do something similar to this with my (currently lacking) channel so this gives me a bit of motivation. Awesome video
When the world needed him most he, well he didnt vanish but its nice to have him around :)
A bit of bad news though, Platinum Games does not want to do a Kill la Kill game because people keep harassing them that they do so back when the show was at the height of its popularity.
Happy Thanksgiving bro
LETS GO NEW LEXTORIAS VIDEOOOO
Huh. These are legitimately good pitches and all would make great games. I'm quite impressed with your design choices for eaxh ganw.
I have to say, I love that your Cowboy Beebop game is kind of just Rogue Trader, but bounty hunter and different setting lol. I really dig it, tbh.
Also, while you mentioned a Chainsaw Man game based on Spider-Man/Infamous/Prototype, I think it would actually suit My Hero Academia more. There's the obvious superhero throughline, but also you could literally have the random encounters as just superhero patrols like in the show.
Moreover, Deku's power lends itself to a REALLY fun movement system that the games have all pretty well neutered. Seeing him traverse that same obstacle course industrial zone you mention in the show highlights this, but we also have his Blackwhip as a spider-man esque web swinging option. The traversal would be phenomenal, honestly.
I think Chainsaw Man could lend itself to a monster hunter style game as well. You start by picking from a selection of devils to partner with that would be like different weapons/classes.
Get a job as a hunter, and then take on missions to hunt certain devils which would set you off in a certain part of the city, follow the destruction and hunt the devil.
I like a majority of these, I think they have a lot of potential, I just think that the jojo game would be cooler as a jrpg, something like persona, but it can retain the point and click element. But the berserk one sounds the absolute coolest, I recently beat dark soul III after having already beaten the first game and elden ring, and it sounds really interesting, maybe it might get me to give the series another chance, maybe, this series is a bit hard to get into
i think this already exists. but its from snes or so. there a LOT of region locked jojo games if i'm not mistaken
@@ximit9198 there's a fan game made with RPG maker where you can play as your own charecter with your own stand based on a personality test at the start of the game
There's a video on it, it is by far the best jojo game
A survival horror Attack on Titan game. It may seems weird but it always buged me that AoT games treats Titan like a random ennemie in any hack and slash. Heck if you're not a Ackerman those creatures are supposed to be hell on hearth and fighting even one is supposed to be a pain.
Survival horror are build around (most of the time) combat dilemma "Should I fight, risk my life and precious rsssource or should I flee and save my life taking the risk that those ennemis might be a threat later on". And I mean isn't it the whole principal of the explorations of the survey corps ?
Your video on horror games and this one got you a sub from me! Iâm not done with this video yet but watching your idea for a CRPG in Cowboy Bebop world, you might wanna check out Battlestar Galactica Deadlock if you want really good turn based tactical space battles!!
berserker truck!!!!!! seriously though, I'm right there with you on FromSoft making the game. I feel like their director would be the only one able to deliver the brutality in tone needed for that game. SuckerPunch would be a close second as they're pretty good at writing betrayal arcs and killing off characters who otherwise deserve to live (looking at you Ghost of Tsushima).
I pray for the day that anime games are seen for their potential by the people who fund them. They usually just feel like advertising materials for the original work. A Fromsoft Berserk game or an open world Made in Abyss game with the right care could be genuine masterpieces on par with games like Elden Ring and Breath of the Wild.
I could see a Made in Abyss game being a mix of Zelda with Monster Hunter. A mix of unique use items with complex monster fights would be the dream. It's a shame the actual Made in Abyss game feels like an unpolished N64 game.
i need a jojo game that plays like persona and a berserk game that plays like doom or god of war
This was such a dope video bro we need that Chainsaw man and Berserk games n I think those are perfect ideas for them
For the Girls, why not a Pretty Cure/Glitter Force-based Power Stone? If Toei is ready to try something completely different for a PreCure Game, then I felt like a Power Stone-based PreCure Game can make more money than a Cocomelon one.
I can also say the same with a Power Stone-like Game, except with a Cardcaptor Sakura skin. If Kodansha is all-set and ready to go for that, then imagine how fun can a Cardcaptor Sakura-themed Power Stone can be. Even a Tokyo Mew Mew/Mew Mew Power-themed Power Stone can make tons of money than a Cocomelon Game can be too.
Such fresh content one of my fav new creators! Make great content, get money!
I think that Komi Can't Communicate would make a good "make friends sim" with all the dialogue choices being

Man going hard on the J cuts, I respect that
always wanted a FMA game that incorporated alchemy as part of both the combat and exploration since i first saw the show.
alas, making that work in a game is damn near impossible without massively gutting what makes the system fun to watch: The on-the-spot decisions you quickly make and use alchemy for.
On the matter of making a Jo Jo game that is not a fighting game, could a Strategy or Tactical RPG in the vein or outspokenness of a NIS production be feasible as well or would those systems have to be more intricate but true to the series than anything Disgaea-like?
I feel like a Gunsmith Cats game could be rad. Could have the game split into two halves:
one where you go out to hunt bounties, involving investigations to track down your targets
and one where you manage the gun store
Both gameplay sections could feed into each other with money earned from bounty hunting going into improving your shop, keeping the place stocked, bringing in customers, etc. and the weapons you buy for the store doubling as your arsenal for the bounty hunting missions.
I'd say you could do it as an XCOM kinda game, but I feel like a third person shooter would fit better with the store management being done between missions either through menus or as a hub area.
Could do an open world game where you have to track your target down through Chicago, which would also give you the opportunity to drive the Shelby GT 500 so that'd be cool, but you could also do a more linear campaign structure so long as investigation is still part of the gameplay loop.
The latter idea you could tackle in a manner similar to the first Arkham game, but personally I think I'd prefer the former.
Of all your ideas, Full Metal Alchemist is my favorite, with one exception, I think you should play as Edward and Alphonse, maybe switching between them. Thereâs so much story that hasnât been told in FMA, you could play the early days after their tragic origin, for example. Even FMA Brotherhood reworked the animeâs story (if necessary).
Also, love the Joe Joeâs BA tactical puzzle game idea.
Your Berserk game idea sounds like it could benefit from how Prince of Persia: Sands of Time does things. The story is told and narrated by the protagonist like heâs telling you a story of what heâs been through and when you die he says âWait, thatâs not how it happenedâ and you go back to your last checkpoint.
the my hero game idea reminds me of shinobi strikers đ
Give Gundam, Eva, or Gurren Lagann to Monolith Soft and we have a banger mecha JRPG on our hands. They are just kings when it comes to capturing a giant sense of scale and making amazing mecha fights since Xenosaga which has continued and evolved into Xenoblade.
"All of the JoJo's games are fighting games." And the Super Nintendo game loses again.
All of these games are so fire. How tf a Beserk game by fromsoftware hasnt happened already is just beyond me
While anime fighters are overdone a Naruto game with the fighterz treatment would slap so hard
Nice Video, I enjoy.
I mean itâs a cool thought experiment but I doubt any of these happening, also I feel like a jojo jrpg like persona would be super fun
yeah none of these are happening. itâs just fun to talk about
You had my like on the teleport
Haven't started the video yet but I have wanted this so bad windwaker style for a one piece game would be the perfect fit
Also
Black clover- with bully/hogwarts style gameplay
And to add to your cowboy bebop game have the assassins creed black flag fleet minigame system in the game as well to make money
Invincible- spiderman insomniac style
These ideas would be killer. I wish even one of these would be made. I'm not a JoJo fan but I would pre-order that game and would probably enjoy it more than the anime.
They could make a game from the Edgerunners anime. That would be cool.
my hero already has 2 games though.
my hero ones justice
and its sequel.
berserk also has a musou game.
haikyu is just basketball. and we have had various games with this sport which got silly.
there is also a jojo game
Give this man some subs.
The Cowboy Bebop game I had in my mind was something closer to Yakuza, Sleeping Dogs or Red Dead Redemption. Since the anime already takes alot from Hong Kong action movies, Film Noir and Clint Eastwood movies so I always thought of it as more of a crime action series before it was a sci fi show with deep lore and all that. I'm not too crazy about the idea of starring a new cast, alot of what makes Cowboy Bebop what it is is the characters and their chemistry, you take that out then you might as well make a new sci fi western setting. You don't have to change the characters just have them be in different scenarios, the show was already very episodic so you as long as you stay true to their back stories, you can pretty much do whatever you want with them kinda like The Witcher games
I loved your ideas! While watching I thought of a PsychoPass psychological horror/thriller would be fucking amazing. Definitely would bake in a psych system where your characters mental state deteriorates as they witness more and more fucked up scenarios
Personally I want to see more anime tactics/turn based strategy games. I think a gurren lagann game would do perfectly as a tactics game.
Time to steal these ideas to overcome artistâs block đ.
The fact of the matter is that Souls games are already a sort of videogame adaptation of the Black Swordsman Arc of Berserk. The rest of story yearns to be a turn based JRPG.
I really loved J Stars with the cast and playable characters but then the one that came out after was fun but definitely wasn't what I wanted while the naruto ninja storm, budukai dragon ball games and even the dynasty warrior one piece games were fun and great to me hope we get some of these or even cooler better concepts realized eventually
I was with you on the Berserk Souls like until you got to the point where you said Open World
I really like your idea for Chansaw man. My idea would he kinov a combination of your ideas for other games a DMC/Bayonetta style action game, with Persona Style Dsily Life Sims between the combat, maybe something more like Yakuza with their "open" worlds with weird things to interact with interspersed with fun in depth combat.
For Berserk Iâm open to dropping the open world element, but at the very least Iâd love wide open areas to explore and fight tons of mobs in, even in a more linear game
@@Lextorias yeah that's fine by me
The main problem is that the people who have the love and respect ANIME deserves don't have the resources to pay a license to make those games, and big companies who have plenty of resources for that either don't care about anime, don't want to make the investors mad or aren't allowed any creative freedom. If only ONE amazing anime-based game was released sales would tell all those big fishes how good of an investment it would be.
i agree with your chainsaw man game ideea, something like the new spider man games but with chainsaw man would be perfect
God dammit, you describing an MGRR style game for Kill La Kill where different outfits give you different abilities has me wondering what abilities Raiden's poncho would give you.
If there isn't already a poncho outfit for the Kill La Kill protagonist then this is the perfect opportunity to change that.
I don't have a mechanical reason for it, she'd just look raw as fuck in a poncho.
I swear Iâm not trying to be toxic, but the shadows under his eyes makes him look like a pandađ
i'm tired, okay
I really want to get patron now
Space Rangers is the title. Google it
(Old game, made by small team in the late 90s and early 00s)
I'm not sure if anyone recommended it or are you aware of its existence. But of you're looking for space western vibes in gaming it's definitely the choice (also Freelancer, but that's another story). It's fun, smart, have true open world and nice mix of turn-based RPG, text quests and sorta platformer-arcade combat. True gem.
Unfortunately, it's really old and made by Russians, so you'll probably will have trouble running it on modern PC and finding good translation (I'm pretty sure it has one, because game was successful worldwide and considered cult classic). There's second version, which is first one on steroids, but i recommend to start from the beginning.
Also, your videos are great, thank you
Just started the video and I want to say Berserk will be dope with the souls style
all anime games these days seem to be visual novels or fighting games - seeing like genshin with an anime artstyle get massive will hopefully show studios that there is a want for good anime games
