I see where one video did start the cut from the flat side of a 4x4 tubing. Thanks for the review. Think I need to secure my new saw with a longer table. I used my jet horizontal bandsaw for years and it got the job done. I think it cost me more for blades for that because mine didn't have a lube system plus switching blades for different material thicknesses was a pain. The way mine twisted the blade so close to the wheels really shortened weld life of the thin 1/2 wide blades. on the other hand it never threw chips back at me so it was safer to use. Either one and you still need an abrasive saw for hardened materials.

I have not done any major projects with it yet. Only occasional use so far and it still is like new with no blade damage. These blades will last a long time if you only cut the recommended type of material. Cut high carbon or hardened steels and you can destroy a blade in one cut. The clamp on this saw is awesome and it runs very smoothly. It is a great saw without spending over $1000 for a truly commercial machine. It's how they ship it. This is a saw capable of using a 15 inch blade but ships with a 14 because that is more then enough for most users. It's an amazing saw. Thanks for watching.

Great video, I actually wanted to purchase the
S380 model but as usual nobody sells it in St.Louis metro area. They said “ well we could order it for you, it’ll take two weeks out of Bristol “
Well hell if you order it for me, then I might as well order it. Long story short I bought the 14 inch model from “Menards” for $189 on sale. I think the difference between it and the S380 is the base is cast aluminum and better clamping system and it’s a 15 inch versus 14 inch. It just really pisses me off that nobody in this area sells those right out of the store. Everything is bought and sold over the internet. It sucks. Back home in Kansas City they sell stuff like that in several places. But not in St.Louis. It must be a Democratic liberal thing. Because their everywhere over here.

Online is the best way to buy these saws. Evolution offers free next day shipping on most of their products and have them packaged well. This is a professional grade saw so most local dealers don't stock them. Welding shops are a good place to look. This is a awesome saw. Thanks for watching.
