One issue I recently figured out was separating the message from the delivery. Even if the message is right and reasonable, the way you behave is a separate matter. If someone who is right tries to start an argument avoid it and then later you can discuss the problem if it is legit. NEVER accept poor treatment even if there is a good reason for it. Don't reward bad behavior.
You say we should treat them like little kids. I guess with most women it's true. The problem is that I don't want to be with a women who is like a kid. I want to have a grown up partner who reasons and communicates like a grown up. If she can't take logical arguments in a discussion and accept if she's wrong, it means she simply has to go.

I agree with parts of what your saying but the analogy you used heavily hints that you undermine the opinions of women. Some women can be over emotional and picky because we are not meant to express anger and frustration through physical means so it comes out all nasty and twisted.
Sometimes its not what you say, but how you say it. Womens' opinions are not the problem, its the cruelty that often comes with it. These strategies wouldn't need to exist if men weren't constantly being hurt by women in this way.
