It's literally the biggest Archetype in the whole franchise. The HERO sub-archetypes individually are fairly normal sized, but the combined HEROes super-archetype is massive.
Vision HEROES... interesting. So Aster Phoenix used them in the manga while his anime counterpart used the Destiny HEROES. Thanks for the trivia, *TGS Anime.*
Gx was back when the extra deck was called the fusion deck my guy. Also if you're thinking Vrains then you gotta remember that heroes are a fusion archetype so it doesn't work.
Technically only 1 link monster is associated with the elemental/masked hero’s 2 are associated with the destiny hero’s and the last 1 is for evil hero’s
My favorite hero subtype right here they got some really good and unique cards like Witch Raider which is basically the og true Draco card and I like how they can support hero as a whole really well
Well every protagonist had a deck that centered an archetype. The Pharaoh was all about the Dark Magician" and Yusei was all about his Junk Warriors" and Stardust Dragon"
This is untrue on some matters For Yugi DM, Dark Magican was not an archetype (neither was Blue Eyes for Kaiba for that matter) until much later on. Yusei deck is dubbed Synchron Warrior as his """archetype""" was a bunch of tuners 'Synchrons' where everything else was random cards splashed in with almost no synergy beyond level eater.
@@soukenmarufwt5224 Yusei had to dig through the trash to find his cards but later on his deck had a bit of support for stardust dragon like a monster card and few traps that had stardust in the name
What's funny. That Yusei has a lot of Stardust specific support cards despite lore wise there's only one Stardust Dragon copy ever. So for anyone else, those support cards are useless.
I think some of the architects were pretty cool but Jaden went from the heroes to neo heroes which were kind of like aliens in the second part but a lot of the cards in the decks of the main characters somehow resembled their characters a bit in my opinion
All i can say is wow. The Vision hero archetype is amazing . Vision Hero Trinity leaves open amazing possibilities with its ability to attack again and again.
People might also think these are similar to the crystal beasts since they can be placed in the spell & trap card zones. But, the crystal beasts were also anime only. In the manga, Jessie plays an insect deck for some dumb reason.
@@satorugojo6229 the thing is GX 5ds a d Arc-V manga where written as separate thing from the anime and they were meant to take place during the DM manga continuity aside from Arc-V. the only exception was Zexal since both anime and manga came out at the same time and were meant to have similar story but they both changed it in as they were going.
Anime had some awesome moments, I mean neo spacians were kinda dumb, they really should've expanded more fusions for jaden, like a new way to fusion summon other than the conventional method
Like we had masked heroes in the manga, the anime should've followed with that as a new type of fusion summoning that doesn't require 2 monsters to form a new monster, the same way RUM cards are used to summon higher ranked xyz monsters without such high requirements
I cannot believe what a coincidence, my hobby is making plots for my versions of Yu-Gi-Oh anime(ofc just plot, I don't have that much free time for animation and stuff) and I was thinking to add character with Vision HERO deck hahahahah
It’s not just the Vision Heroes that could use an extra something, almost all the Hero archetypes could use a boost (except for Destiny Heroes, they have enough meta stuff): Elemental Heroes: -Anime: some fusions like Phoenix Enforcer, same material as other know monsters but different outcome. -Manga: I think the Alternate Fusion trap from the manga would make for good Elemental Hero support. -Neos Space: a link monster to give them a boost, as well as a continuous spell form for Neos Space (and a reprint for Air Neos). -Other: cards like Blazeman, Solid Soldier, and Liquid Soldier for the other 3 attributes, especially Dark and Wind since we only have 2 main deck Wind and Dark Elemental Heroes thus far and one of the Winds is Avian and one of the Dark needs to be tribute summoned! Vision Heroes: needs proper link support and an extra fusion or 2 as well as the last trap printed and means to stop and/or lower damage and something to connect The Grand Jupiter to the archetype since Aster had a strong connection to it like anime Aster had to Plasma! Evil Heroes: I know they just got some support, but it’s not enough yet. They need some more spells (and maybe some traps) that either count as it adds Dark Fusion to the hand, as well as some more fusions like and Evil Hero version of Shining Flare Wingman and maybe an Evil Hero version of Terra Firma (some dark artwork for Clayman and Wildheart would be nice too)! Masked Heroes: I would say add the main deck monsters to the game, but at this point ANY proper support would be welcomed!
Main deck masked heros would also allow heros to use contrast hero chaos, which to my knowledge is one of the archetype's only negates, and it's an omni negate to boot.
Can we get a video on the Branded/Despia/Sword Soul/Sprigans etc.? There's already some lore in that fact that most of the factions seem to be at war with the Despias
Man I quit 9 years ago and I remember selling the vision hero cards I had thinking, "these never got support or had their day" and now I am finding out they did but years later
Does anyone else here want a VILLAIN archetype as a counter-part to the entire HERO archetype? I know we got the Evil HEROes, but they are more like anti-heroes. I'm talking Elemental VILLAIN, Destiny VILLAIN, Masked VILLAIN, you get the idea, with every member being a counter-part to a specific HERO, with some form of history between them. For example; Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster would have Destiny VILLAIN Wicked Judge as its counter-part, with Wicked Judge being the one who imprisoned Dreadmaster to begin with.
That would be a cool concept. But like the Evil Heroes" I'd imagine they'd all have to be fiend type. Because zombie type doesn't fit since we have the Revendead" archetype.
Hot take but I never liked the neo space monsters I loved his hero deck so when I found out that Jaden didn't drop the hero monsters in the manga I was glad

You should have seen Masked HERO my guy. That sub archetype is the one that resembles Kamen rider. Vision HERO is more like some sort of ghost/illusion of a hero. Elemental HERO is more western heroes. Destiny HERO is more british anti -heroes. Evil HERO is basically a combination of devilish heroes and anti-heroes.
ok there is something that i have always wondered about HERO cards, what are they fighting against'??? i mean its clear they all share the same city, but who is their enemy??? i kinda compare it to my hero academia, but who is Shigaraki on the archetype??? Where is the Villan or Evil archetype, that counters the monster that is the heroes???
So if Aster played Vision Heros and Jaden gave back the Elemental Heros to the person who once gave it to him in favor of the Masked Heros in the manga. Not to mention Destiny Heros and Neo Spacians were not in the manga, does that mean the manga in terms of story went on a whole different direction than the anime did? The same can be said for nearly all the Yu-Gi-Oh manga stories after Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters where at least the Duel Monsters anime was pretty loyal to the manga with only a couple of changes and original arcs.

I still wanna know. If Elemental heroes are Superheroes. Destiny heroes are Antiheroes. Evil heroes are heroes turned villains. Masked heroes Sentai and Kamen riders, and Xtra heroes are just additional Elemental and Evil heroes. Then what are the Vision heroes? Bettleborgs? If they are supposed to be a parallel to the Destiny heroes, it makes sense that their rivals are the Masked heroes. So, maybe if Maksed heroes are sentai and kamen riders, the Vision heroes are also Tokusatsu characters but only those who are robots?
It seems like a slow archetype however this is still a great video! I always love your archetype videos, for the next ones can you do either train, infinitrack, herald, or shark

I still never understand why you people keep glorifying Manga Chazz beats Jaden. It means nothing as Chazz gets obliterated by Zane anyway. So beating Jaden isn't really an achievement. Also Jaden played terrible cards (one of them is a bad skill drain) so Chazz had an easier time. (Ignoring Manga Chazz deck bricks really easily)
I like Manga Chazz, because in the Anime he dueled Jaden 5 times and never won, even in their last duel he could have won but he didn’t. In the Manga the two dueled twice, having one win each. A good rivalry in my opinion. They even fight together in the end to destroy Tragoedia, the main villain. Also, Zane is like a duelist god. He is on a completely different level.

When Aster appeared in Arc-V I was really hoping that the Vision Heroes would make their anime debut, but nope. It was just more Destiny Heroes.

They're fighting their inability to get into the meta.

It kinda does. For example, the final villain boss monster of GX manga is transmedia, and Yudai teams up with manjoumei to deal with him or something.

As far as I'm aware, Gx manga was preceded by the anime.
The manga started during the GX anime, The anime was October 6 2004-March 26 2008 and the Manga was December 17 2005-March 19 2011.

alot of elemental and destiny heros are based on comic heros
masked heros are based on Kaman riders....but i cant seem to find any resemblence with vision heros with anything else.

So if the anime brought in American superheroes and anti-heroes with anti-villains, the manga brought Kamen rider and what seems to be metal heroes?
is it just me or does it feel like Vison HERO Increase and Multiply Guy had their effects swapped? like why is the guy with the literal name in Increase swarming the field but the guy whos name is Multiply guy is the one boosting attack?

I still never understand why you people keep glorifying Manga Chazz beats Jaden.
It means nothing as Chazz gets obliterated by Zane anyway. So beating Jaden isn't really an achievement.
Also Jaden played terrible cards (one of them is a bad skill drain) so Chazz had an easier time. (Ignoring Manga Chazz deck bricks really easily)
I like Manga Chazz, because in the Anime he dueled Jaden 5 times and never won, even in their last duel he could have won but he didn’t.
In the Manga the two dueled twice, having one win each. A good rivalry in my opinion.
They even fight together in the end to destroy Tragoedia, the main villain.
Also, Zane is like a duelist god. He is on a completely different level.

yay an update to this old video has come! i really wished it had more fusion monster like level 5-6 version of the omni elemental heroes to go with it. and will the next update archtype be the god cards?
He did an Egyptian God card archetype video about 4 years ago, not sure of any major support has come out since then
