Max is such a savage. Moving up a division is always hard but doing it against a guy like Gaethje is insane

@@raulmendezgarcia He has been a champion, defeating Jose Aldo 2 times. Has 3 title defenses. Apart from that he has been in two interim title fights, won one of them lost the other. Apart of that he has been in three other title fights that he lost two volkanovski. Thats 7 undisputed title fights with 4-3 (and 4-0 against whoever is not called volkanovski), and 2 interim title fights.
Gathje has two title fights that he lost, and one interim fight he won. So yeah Max has achieved waaaaaay more than Justin.

The type of fight that you don't want neither fighter to lose
Think about how hard it is for Max to make 145 at his size. He often looks like death on the scale. At 32 he's now in his prime of his career. His chin hasn't failed him yet. His boxing is the best in the business. This fight totally makes sense at 155lbs for both fighters. We fans are surely in for a treat! I'm on the blessed express 🙏🚂

I think Max is going to win the BMF belt next. His footwork, boxing, jiu jitsu, pace and granite chin is going to prove the doubters wrong again. I also want to see Max vs Oliveira 2 this year.

Max has a chance, he did give Dustin problems in their fight despite the loss, and we all know he can take a punch. But Justin has improved so much under Whitman and probably has too much power even for Max. Very much looking forward to it.
What problems bro? His baby punches were merely touching Dustin. All he had was better cardio and endurance in the 3rd/ 4th (considering all the damage he took). And gaethje hits even harder. This might be the time his chin finally cracks. By any means Max is a savage for taking this fight but I see gaethje walking through his punches, destroying the legs and KOing him within 3

@@SeanstrickIandvswomensmma what round was that? I just rewatched the fight recently, I don't recall Dustin being rocked or anything. It just seemed like dustin's shots were landing heavy while Max's didn't really get much of a reaction even when landing clean.

Contrary to popular belief Max actually has a pretty realistic shot at winning this fight. People sleeping on Max fr. He’s shown some newfound power lately he just needs to pair that up with the most pressure and volumes he’s ever put out; especially with body and leg kicks, mix it up in the clinch and be creative early and let the hands go later on and man, I can totally see him winning a decision. He has good boxing defense nowadays just to polish the leg stuff up.

Man I love both Max and Justin. I know it's going to be a banger of a fight. I want them both to win. I just hope they both come out as healthy as could be afterwards. A fight with Justin is equivalent to being in a car accident, so I just hope they can both fight hard, have fun, test themselves, and move forward.
