- This is a series where I casually go over what’s going on in my life here as an expat in Saigon, Vietnam. In this episode, my dad is visiting from America and we take a look at the Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel.
There’s really not much of a plan to these videos, but hopefully they are entertaining and give you a bit more of an insight of what life is like here as an American living in Ho Chi Minh City.

Do you need to pay a fee for withdrawal cash at the ATM in Saigon, Tyler?
@@jonathanluong4855 yes generally. Though I use a bank that refunds all ATM fees and international fees called Betterment bank. You can also open a Charles Schwab checking account which refunds fees.
@@BigTimeBentleyhow do you deposit money into your Betterment account if you are in Saigon? Do you need to come back to Torrance to do that?

I always stay in PH when I am in Saigon, good food, clean, good service, can't go wrong.

Park Hyatt Saigon is one of the best hotels in the world. Was there on Sunday for breakfast...as usual and will head off to have an afternoon coffee on the deck at around 2pm today. Usually hang out there twice or three times every week.

Great vlog. Chevron is correct.. not sure about making a more open appearance. It does make a more dynamic affect to certain rooms. Nice hotel. Love the pool area. Looks like you guys are having a great time. Enjoy the zoo. My guess for time would be 8:37am

Why woukd you soend several hundred dollars on a hotel room when you can have a 2 ir 3 bedroom modern apartment for under $100 a night? Gym, pool, coffee shops, restaraunts and the spartment has a balciny with city and river views.

Vietnam hotels are vastly overpriced. $400 - 500 is a ridiculous amount, especially for Vietnam. The equivalent hotels in Singapore and Hong Kong would be around $300 - 400. And breakfast at $45 is ridiculous. It has been reported that luxury hotels in Vietnam are nearly empty.
