To be fair Geoffrey has a glowing history of successful business ventures. He did put Amir down for a 4k check for a business selling wafers filled with Newton Gingrinch's seed
He also invested in Snapchat in the angel round and possibly a jukebox. There was also him getting in at the top of the Herbalife pyramid: introducing Arm to Hammer.

This writing is insane, I have never seen a writer putting the effort in to make a line as wrong as possible in every way. "Now we're cooking with gas", then proceeds to say electric stoves, which would be one of the only ways to cook without gas, and shows a picture of a beach. It goes beyond nonesense, it feels almost illegal.
