  • We have Andy play all of the ALCHEM-E E-Vault Module presets. This is all on a stock E-Vault module using the 1.1 firmware. We just go directly out of the module USB-C straight into a mac using Logic Pro. It was really easy to record this way! We didn't doctor the sounds in any way this is all just raw module sounds.
We have all the Zildjian electronic kits in stock right now and can ship one right out of you are ready to purchase. Use this link to visit our Zildjian section.

I feel like this kit sounds really akin to a live mic'd up acoustic kit which is a good thing, and paired with those cymbals being able to blend in sonically in a live setting, seems it would solve the "thwack" issue in smaller venues compared to traditional e-cymbals.

The cymbals seem really nice, i wonder if they will make them available for other kits with a 1/4 " jack ? Probably very pricey if'n they do.
Great video.i was down that way last year on vacation, but regretfully, didnt get a chance to check out your shop. Maybe next time

All I want is to play my drums; enjoy doing it and don't be a nuisance for my neighbours.
The Zildjian Alchem-E seems like THE instrument to do that with.
However: I don't want to be bothered with 'USB-C straight into a mac using Logic Pro'!
My laptop (Windows, Apple or Linux) had nothing to do with this! Just make a nice sound for me on an instrument that makes me feel like I'm playing the drums.
I'm never going to 'doctor' anything! Just give me the feeling!
Will the Zildjian Alchem-E (Bronze, Silver, Gold, 'Any-Metal') do that?
This video makes it appear so.

The cymbals samples are great and seem to have variety throughout the dynamic range. The numerous drum tones are very organic and nice sounding, but lacking in velocity variation. Zildjian needs to get back in the studio and record more samples or create some variations with additional processing.

I agree. The shells have seemed lacking in the same realism that the cymbals have. (Makes sense for a cymbal company I guess?)
Maybe running the shells through some other MIDI software like GGD or SSD would make them sound better, but then just keep the Zildjian cymbal sounds. Unless of course the problem is the actual velocity triggering...

ATV entry level module sounds more authentically acoustic including the cymbals, overall a better sounding module for $300!!! Hope atv will be around!

    Nice playing.
    And nice informative video.
The drums are nice looking but the sounds is not really on par with the price, imho.
I mean… the cymbals are quite nice sounding but the rest of the kit has too much machine gunning going on to ever consider buying it; for me, at least.
I think that, with all the progress made so far about e-drums, it’s not acceptable machine gunning anymore, at least on that price range.
And I also think that it’s not acceptable that someone have to buy this e-drum kit just to build the “perfect kit” using the cymbals of this one kit and the rest using another module (like mimic pro, i.e.)
When someone spends so much money, should have bought something that has the whole package that sounds good, no compromise, no extra thing to add or buy.
    But still here we are.
    Meh.
