Liam is a total beast at this game, and it doesn't make me feel inadequate! I loved this game growing up, I still have the Genesis CDX that I used and it still works. It just sucks that my copy of sonic CD doesn't work anymore. Liam, play the sequel, show us how boss you are at those!

Adam is playable, and everyone gets a dash, including him. Adam is a complete beast in that game, he hits like a brick house.
I hope they do it someday SoR Remake is so fucking good.

I played this game so much with one of my friends when we were younger. Probably the best part for me in the game is the elevator where you throw everyone off the edge before you get to the top floor to fight Mr. X.
Streets of rage is better than Final fight though.

***** The fanmade version (Street's of Rage Remake) is actually fan-fucking-tastic. With all the characters, stages and bosses mixed into one game. You can play as Mr. X or some other Boss characters in that fan game. Remade music, remixes that are amazing, etc. Sor Remake.

I personally like all the variety. They have slowly crept up to being my favorite channel over game grumps recently because of how much variety they have.

Southtown vs Metro city was the pinnacle of Fighterpedia, if you guys could do more like that it'd be a winner. The editing and production made it hilarious, especially the cutoff if Woolie talking at the end
I'm glad Liam came back. I really enjoyed his appearance in the Metroid playthrough.

I remember playing this. Nostalgia hit me hard watching this.
You know why I love the Best Friends channel? They talk about early 90s videogames like they're REALLY fucking important. Like, world politics important. Yes, the subject matter is dumb, but they are SO into it, you can't help but get into it too. They have passion, and really, that's something we all want in our lives.
Fighterpedia is strange in that it is among the few series of videos that become more enjoyable the more I watch them.

Altered Beasts, Tom Lesorda Baseball, NHL anything, NBA Jam!!!!!! These games (plus the obvious SSF2, Sonic, and MK) took up so much of my time as a kid.
This, to me, is the best game on the Genesis.

Did you know that in Streets of Rage 2 Adam is a damsel in distress. Axel, Blaze, Skate, and Max are playable and the game revolves around saving Adam and restoring peace to the city. Gotta love those Tropes.

Rising Superstar Liam. An enigma from the streets that birthed him, the rage that flows through his very soul which he chooses to direct such DANGEROUS FLAME toward Clannad thus allowing such folk as ourselves to live and have a future.
Rising Superstar Liam. The saucy beast that treads lightly in a world where Woolie, Pat, and Matt exist. One must have the will of LIONS to overcome such obstacles but the Rising Superstar achieves beyond expectations. James Small as no chance.
I actually liked Liam's commentary, when he said anything. I'd like to see more Liam in the future.

Dude, Comix Zone changed my life in every way. It merged comics and video games, taught me about breaking the fourth wall, and was so hard for young me it was a huge accomplishment to beat. Alas, it was just released way too late in the console life cycle, people had already moved onto the Playstation.

You can really tell that Matt and Woolie do this a lot more often, because they are able to drop references and be funny at the drop of a hat, but Liam's just playing it straight, almost like he isn't being recorded.
Its crazy to see one of these guys play a game that they're "great" at and actually be awesome.

The twins are called Onihime and Yasha. Mona & Lisa was a change in the SoR3 localisation only - the SoR1 twins are always Onihime/Yasha (Yasha jump kicks and Onhime throws). Boomerang guy is Antonio, clawman is Souther, wrestler is Abadede, fat guy's name is Bongo. Also... the flying kick guys are called Haku-Oh.

My GOD I love the SOR series! The games, the music, the enemies, the characters, the bosses, they just fucking TOP. Hell we got a die hard fanbase that makes are own SOR games (that are usually completed), with hype remixes, art, and anything else SOR is the fucking shit! Dare I say it, it's the Weaponlord of Beat em' ups.

A close friend of mine is an aspiring musician and her debut album which is set to release sometime next year is titled Streets of Raged, named after this game.
I'm impressed with Liam Kun's ability to beat those dominatrix crouching enemies. They were so annoying as a kid, always ducking my attacks.
Great now i need to replay this game if i ever get the chance again. Too much nostalgia now to resist the urge.
