The real Cyrus Cylinder does not mention Jewish people or Judaism. It only mentions locations and people of Mesopotamia.
Doesn’t this contradict the Biblical narrative?

But if you do read the story of Prophet Moses, you would know Jews had no homeland. The very land they are staying in the period of this video is after they conquered it from its local,The Palestinian.

the Bible predicted the coming of Cyrus and even mentioned his name, his function, his people and his conquests more than 200 years before it happened. The Prophet Daniel, one of the main prophets in biblical history, who was a Babylonian adviser and minister, also became a great governor in the reign of Darius.Daniel showed Cyrus the Great the prophecies about him that were in the scrolls of Isaiah and Jeremiah. Cyrus was impressed, freed the Jewish people from Babylonian rule, strayed them back to Israel and even allowed them to take all the wealth of Babylon to rebuild the Jewish temple. Not to mention that it made Judaism one of the three official religions of the Achaemenid Empire.
Look what is written in Isaiah 45, a book written about 740 BC to 700 BC. that Daniel showed to Cyrus 200 years later, who became his personal friend and the chief of the three rulers selected by Cyrus:
“This is what the Lord says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut: I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name. For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel my chosen, I summon you by name and bestow on you a title of honor, though you do not acknowledge me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting people may know there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is no other.
“This is what the Lord says- the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: Concerning things to come, do you question me about my children, or give me orders about the work of my hands? It is I who made the earth and created mankind on it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts. I will raise up Cyrus in my righteousness: I will make all his ways straight. He will rebuild my city and set my exiles free, but not for a price or reward, says the Lord Almighty.”
      Isaiah 45:1‭-‬6‭, ‬11‭-‬13
See, I will stir up against them the Medes, who do not care for silver and have no delight in gold.
Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the pride and glory of the Babylonians, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah.
      Isaiah 13:17‭, ‬19
"who carries out the words of his servants and fulfills the predictions of his messengers, who says of Jerusalem, ‘It shall be inhabited,’ of the towns of Judah, ‘They shall be rebuilt,’ and of their ruins, ‘I will restore them,’ who says of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd and will accomplish all that I please; he will say of Jerusalem, “Let it be rebuilt,” and of the temple, “Let its foundations be laid.” ’
      Isaiah 44:26‭, ‬28
Next, prophecies of Jeremiah, a prophet who lived at the time of the Babylonian invasion of Judah:
“ ‘The Lord has vindicated us; come, let us tell in Zion what the Lord our God has done.’ “Sharpen the arrows, take up the shields! The Lord has stirred up the kings of the Medes, because his purpose is to destroy Babylon. The Lord will take vengeance, vengeance for his temple. Lift up a banner against the walls of Babylon! Reinforce the guard, station the watchmen, prepare an ambush! The Lord will carry out his purpose, his decree against the people of Babylon.
      Jeremiah 51:10‭-‬12
“Lift up a banner in the land! Blow the trumpet among the nations! Prepare the nations for battle against her; summon against her these kingdoms: Ararat, Minni and Ashkenaz. Appoint a commander against her; send up horses like a swarm of locusts. Prepare the nations for battle against her- the kings of the Medes, their governors and all their officials, and all the countries they rule.
      Jeremiah 51:27‭-‬28
Here are the notes of a Jewish scribe named Ezra regarding the return of the Jews to Jerusalem (he was one of these too, obviously):
In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing: “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: “ ‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. Any of his people among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the Lord, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them. And in any locality where survivors may now be living, the people are to provide them with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with freewill offerings for the temple of God in Jerusalem.’ ” Moreover, King Cyrus brought out the articles belonging to the temple of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and had placed in the temple of his god. Cyrus king of Persia had them brought by Mithredath the treasurer, who counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah. This was the inventory: gold dishes 30 silver dishes 1,000 silver pans 29 gold bowls 30 matching silver bowls 410 other articles 1,000 In all, there were 5,400 articles of gold and of silver. Sheshbazzar brought all these along with the exiles when they came up from Babylon to Jerusalem.
      Ezra 1:1‭-‬4‭, ‬7‭-‬11

Bear in mind that these prophecies were written centuries before the rise of Cyrus and the Achaemenid Empire, so I don't think it was a publicity stunt on Cyrus' part, it's impossible hahahaha
I particularly believe that Ciro did that because of Daniel. As I said above, Daniel became a personal friend of Cyrus (Cyrus is sometimes called Darius in the Jewish scriptures, historians claim that Darius was probably a sort of Persian title, as were Caesar and Augustus in Rome), This story is told in the book of Daniel, chapter 6.
Fun fact, Daniel predicts the fall of the Achaemenid Empire, the rise of the Macedonian Empire, the life and death of Alexander the Great, as well as the separation of Macedonia into 4 other main kingdoms... All this in chapter 8. Daniel's vision of these events is full of metaphors and symbols, but it is clear to whom or what the symbols refer, sometimes the names of nations are quoted and the symbols are explained.

It could be a mix of the 2 reasons. Feeling sympathetic to their plight as well as hearing word that these many thousands would be eternally greatful to one who could lead them back home. Could also be even more pragmatic and calculated. Jewish people, who revolted multiple times under their previous conquers, stewing in contempt in the middle of his empire. A revolt could started or made bigger by them being close.
Me, I'm inclined to believe it was genuine compassion or even religious fervor. Could he call himself a great king and a just leader if he followed the previous tyrants footsteps?

@@highadmiraljt5853 "noun. a person who follows a *polytheistic* or pre-Christian religion (not a Christian or Muslim or Jew)."
      Yes, the same one.
Zoroastrians believe in *one God*, called Ahura Mazda (meaning 'Wise Lord'). He is compassionate, just, and is the creator of the universe. Ahura Mazda is: Omniscient (knows everything)Oct 2, 2009
*How did Zoroastrianism influence other religions?*
"Historically, the unique features of Zoroastrianism, such as its monotheism, messianism, belief in free will and judgement after death, conception of heaven, hell, angels, and demons, among other concepts, may have influenced other religious and philosophical systems, including the Abrahamic religions and Gnosticism."
Most pagans worship the old pre-Christian *gods and goddesses* through seasonal festivals and other ceremonies. Observance of these festivals is very important to pagans, and those in hospital will generally wish to celebrate them in some form. As there are many diverse traditions within paganism, you should ask individual patients if they have any special requirements. Some pagans may wish to have a small white candle or a small figure of a goddess on their locker.
*What religion is paganism based on?*
Paganism is a quickly growing spiritual movement, consisting of various groups practicing nature-based *polytheistic* religions, loosely based on the religions of the ancient world.
While some Christians favor a more biocentric approach, Catholic officials and others seek to retain an emphasis on humanity while incorporating environmental concerns within a framework of Creation Care. Christian environmentalists emphasize the ecological responsibilities of all Christians as stewards of God's earth.
Zoroastrianism claims to be the world's first proponent of ecology, through caring for the elements and the earth. The Zoroastrian faith enjoins the caring of the physical world not merely to seek spiritual salvation.
Conclusion: Both Christians and Zorrastrians *may* have pagan elements but *they are not Pagan*.
