Did mine today. I couldn’t get the front up high enough to drop the shield. Turned the pet cock from the the top with an adjustable wrench. Loosened radiator cap and nothing came out. Took the thermostat off and replaced. Lost a little fluid but not much. Disconnected the battery to reset the code. So far so good. Will see if the check engine light stays off. Temperature running about 206 now. Was 197 max before.

@Eli Jah When I called for an estimate from mechanic shops they say that a thermostat replacement takes 1.5 hrs and so ike $110 to $220 depending on the shop buy in video and others it is very quick. What could they possibly be doing during the job to take 1.5 hrs?
