This is just how Stewart looks, this was a rehearsal that wasn't in costume or makeup so we don't know what he's gonna look like yet. I think he looks great 😍

I love this squip, more similar to the original, who I loved. I never really liked how the Broadway squip spoke. I’m so excited for this!

I really wish they had kept the lyrics from the original cast recording for The Pitiful Children, since it's probably my favourite song in the whole musical, and I really preferred them. I like most of the lyric changes, but I can't help but miss "You were always quite the loooooser, Jeremy..." . I don't know, I guess it just would have made my day to find out they had gone back to the original lyrics. However, this version of the Squip seems great, so I guess the lyrics don't really matter...

I think it's always weird when you've listened to a song so much to hear it with new lyrics! I don't dislike these new ones but I absolutely get where you're coming from. Also Stewart is great!

I'm always gonna miss Jason Tam's SoCal accented SQUIP, but I am _so_ freaking hyped for this that it's not even funny. They just keep amping up the awesome on my favorite malevolent supercomputer with each production, don't they? Everyone is doing so amazing so far, if I had the means I'd totally try to come and see this!
This is a good comment. I like this. Y'all ain't gotta shit on tamsquip to compliment another squip. (Not that they don't do that anyway, because people are allergic to fun, and can't see how delightful the idea of a SoCal accented supervillain nanocomputer is.)
anyway, even as a tamsquip stan myself, I love this guy already. He's so graceful, which is a perfect fit-- the SQUIP's motions should be fluid and weightless like this, imo!

I didn't really keep up with bmc when it was on Broadway, just because I was invested in other things while it was running. I was aware of the lyric changes but I didn't really expect to hear them in this song so when he started singing I was thrown off a bit but wow!! this cast seems great :'0

Ya'll don't know how much I want to see this show. Well, you probably do because I assume you are just as much as a fangirl/boy as I am. But it was 3 years ago that I found out about this show, and that was my first time I fell in love with musical theatre. I want to see it more than ever because of how well it is performed and the strange and skilfully crafted progression from the fun and quirkiness of act one to the awesome and unnerving masterpiece that is act two.
I know it's kind of weird to say that stuff when I haven't watched the full show yet, but hey, maybe if life gets its shit together, maybe I could.
Edit: Life got it's shit together. Sadly, couldn't see the fantastic London production, but I could see a college rendition with the original script. I can now say I love this musical all I want and no one will question me for it! Not like I would have been questioned either way, the songs and writing fucking slaps.
Can you say that about dialogue? I don't know, but you know it's true.
