This was only my third visit. The train is the way to go so relaxing.
Really cool video. I stayed in a cheap motel in Williams and took a photo by a train...maybe it was that one. This was back in the mid 90s.
It most likely was. They started running Grand Canyon trains in 1989.

like it! Im going this thurdays with my two kids, that hotel and the train, is there bathroom in the train? I just hope is not too cold :)
I think each car has a toilet, the car I was in had its own anyway. Hopefully your day will be sunny and clear with comfortable temps. Safe travels.

This was late September 2022. The weather was perfect.
Nice Video, but I wish the train was one of the old fashioned Steam Variety.
A majority of the time it is a diesel engine that pulls the train. They do have a stream engine, I think it runs once a month, and on special holidays.
A hotel that has all visitor services closed by 7:00 P.M.?
