The brutal treatment of Indian, Pakistani, Egyptian, Bangladeshi, Nepali, and Saudi students by Kyrgyz mobs and terrorists is utterly unacceptable. These students have been subjected to physical violence and harassment, particularly female students, creating an atmosphere of fear and chaos that has persisted for the past three days. The abject failure of law enforcement to protect students and tourists during this ordeal is equally concerning. A complete ban on tourism, trade, and education in Kyrgyzstan may seem like a drastic measure. However, a strong and unequivocal message needs to be sent.
