Turning my Daphne’s Diary Magazine into the Cutest Gluebook!

-  I purchased a damaged Daphne‘s diary magazine for a few dollars and decided I was going to make a Journal after watching Nina Ribena make one. In the middle I change my mind and thought how cute it would be to make a collage glue book from the leftover images in the magazine. This video will be making the actual book from the magazine pages and the magazine cover, next I will be harvesting the best of the leftover images to collage on every page.  Essentially I’ll be reworking the magazine to remove the parts I don’t like and have a full fledged Daphne‘s Diary book that I’m a creative part of. How wild is that?

Oh this glue book is looking so gorgeous already, can only imagine how you will jazz it up and make it even more awesome. Love the little pictures you added and the lace looks lovely. The little glue cap rolling around lol - when we’re in the “creative zone” we don’t mind little things like that haha! Sooooo so looking forward to seeing you work more of your gluing magic in here! Yeah, this is going to be a fun one to play in! I harvested the magazine and got that on video and another page done so that will be coming out shortly. Unfortunately, my camera died while doing the page so I’ve got a bit of it and then I have to just film how it turned out ha ha maybe I’ll do another one too, unless the video runs long. Oh I think the lace works so well
Yes, I actually did the sari silk twice. I took the original off that had the deep purple and spliced some more turquoise and green onto it and re-tied everything but I still didn’t like it. The lace worked out much better both places and you can still see the blue ribbon underneath the lace because it’s only glued at the top.
Jeanne this gluebook is going to be a joy to play in. ❤

Always fun to start a new project, glad your making good use of your pillow cover and washi 😉 So, essentially you're doing a "one magazine challenge" Not as easy as it seems I have found.
Yes, it will be a little bit of a challenge but it’ll just be fun. There’s lots in the magazine that I’m not interested in so it’s nice to sort that out and just keep the good stuff.
