There arĂ© many riders who Ride more than 10 years and don't have even an airpump. đ
Probably disc brake guards
Some tear offs when you get roostered by your mates, then you roost them back for costing you a tear off.
They only do it once.
Exhaust plug, spare levers
fork savers
Itâs 2AM and I purchased my first dirt bike ten years ago. Why am I watching this

Been riding for 10 years but definitely suggesting this to beginners

I just bought my first bike and all these videos are super helpful, my bike is a 2007 Yamaha wr 450f, probably a little much for a beginner but I am getting the hang of it
Hope youâre enjoying it!! I got a 189cc trail bike for my first bike. I felt like 450 wouldâve been way too much sauce for me lol
Took a long time off the dirt after my old kdx 200. Just got a 2008 ktm xcf w450 and loving it so far. Just have to respect the power and ease into it.
I really wanna start motorcross I have every since I can remember but my family is not able to afford this unfortunately one day Iâll get into it when I can get a job to pay for these things
I had the same situation man! Purchasing it on your own makes it that much more fulfilling. Itâs worth it!
Yeah im doing jobs on our farm and you can also sell stuff and ask for money for you bday and christmas
I had finesse and hustle to buy mines
Buy a chinese bike. I feel like people say that they're worse than they actually are. All my friends have chinese dirt bikes/quads including me. I got my 250 cc 4 stroke dirt bike for 500 euros.
I bought my first bike with my first jobs tax return when I was 18, waited my whole young life to get a dirt bike. Got a 01 yz 125 from a ez pawn for 900$ plus tax..talked them down from 1200, a GI had just lost it in pawn, it was in great shape and well maintained surprisingly from a pawn shop..but I lucked out like it was meant to be lol. I rode that bike for like 7 years to hell and back. Sold it for 1500$ lol still ran great. I've had several other dirtbikes,quads,3wheelers, and some streetbikes since then. Motorcycles has been my main hobby. I think I love maintaining and working on them as much as i love riding. So if its somthing your passionate about and you work and plan for it. It will happen. You can achieve whatever you wantđ€ part of my motivation was I would ask my parents for a dirtbike or quad every birthday, Christmas..all the time. And theyd either say they cant afoard it or they dont want me getting hurt..Then I'd watch the neighbor kids riding, while I was setting there playing excitebike on my nintendo..I think all that turned into my addiction for motorcycles I have now lol. I wanted one bad.
Knee sleeves or long socks are a must. They make any knee protection feel so much better, and keep your knee protection more fresh. One recent addition that I made was a cordless, lithium ion high capacity fan. The breeze is not always blowing, and you need to move some air to cool off. Love my new fan.
My wife gave me the green light to get my very first dirt bike last summer. Spent around $4,300 for the bike. A week later, the grand total was around $6,000 with all the gear, tools and equipment lol she was super graceful about it all though.
Your wife gave you the green light?

Very helpful videos and information. Always makes sure to hit the key points and important things. Thank you, Tyler!
Iâve been so busy lately I havenât even kept up with the MXF Vids đ
Bike still isnât back together yet, but, I did score a sweet job at my local Powersports Store....I love working around MX & ATV stuff all day đ€đ»âđ»
Great video as usual fellaâs, if I might add another âBonus Tipâ.....if youâre buying your bike used, find and purchase the Official Repair Manual for your specific bike đđ»
Learning how to turn wrenches on your own machine will save you literally THOUSANDS of dollars in shop fees for the years you own your machine!
I found diluted Simple Green to be the best also. Do NOT use
Super Clean or any other type of heavy duty degreaser. It will permanently damage/stain the aluminum and other parts on the bike.
You can scrub it of with scotch brite pads and also dilute the degreaser first
Iâve watched this video before, I got my first bike 3 years ago, Iâve had 4 dirtbikes since that Iâve customised, rebuilt and sold on, probably done 300 hours worth of riding and Iâm still here watching this because âwhat if Iâve missed something simple?â
Applies to two stroke beginners, get a ratio right cup, no guessing just measure it and mix it...when I first started riding I was so confused about the whole gas to oil ratio mixing
That was the first thing I got! Lol
This is helpful, I just thought you put regular unleaded gas in đ. Looking to purchase my first bike and gear in a year or so. Trynna get lotta info now so I can be ready to go
â@@xsparkyplays well on some of them you do. Use like 91 octane. But not your typical dirt bikes

Meanwhile me on my 2013 honda thats only been serviced once and is rode regularly
Saved. Thank you.
I might be getting my first bike soon, itâs a CRF 450r đŹ
Iâve been riding motorcycles for 3 years always wanted to ride dirtbikes though and have been saving up for a used one but seeing this reminds me how much stuff you need to just get started đ€Ł all this on top of separate mx gear because all my gear is for street riding
If you are watching this done get chain lube, Iâve had all sorts of brands of lube and nothing works better than WD40. It drives out the moisture and stops the chain from rusting whilst keeping it slick and smooth. But lube attracts the dirt and holds it onto the chain.
You can also use the shockpump to pump your tires. It takes a little bit longer thoughđ€·đŒââïž, and it als has a gauge on it!
Lots of comments probably mentioned before. A helmet and boots are number 1 as you have to take care of yourself first :)
Nice!
A fan from philippines! Keep it up! đ
I admit it's a lot more stuff than I thought about considering buying a first bike. But it's possible.. just gotta take my time buy one or a couple things at a time if you're on a budget.
Iâm looking at getting a yz125x as my first bike, Iâm 25 and around 170 pounds. Been riding bmx/MTB my whole life and now can afford bigger things, Iâve ridding one before and was able to get it for my first time ever being on a bike. I hope itâs a good first bike
The one very high on the list, track or trail, plugs, standard and at least one hotter, and for trails along with that, backpack and drinking water...
Love ya vids help a lot even tho donât have dirt bike but want one
My first bike was a 98 cr500 at 16 yrlds so I had alot to learn
Thanks ty I got a dirt bike yesterday
Hi my feedback is: you guys should do more jump tutorials and wheelie tutorials, It would be cool if you guys live streamed and vlogd, love your vids and hope to see your channel grow more!
Hey i got my first bike like a week ago so this is really helpful its a 2005 yz 85 big wheel thank you

Nah
Another thing id recommended is hand levers i lost count on how many sets o have gone through
Come to murphys Mx this weekend
Engine Ice đ§ is good sheeet đ„
Just plain awesome

I got my first bike this summer. It is a 2001 yamaha yz80. I want to get into racing next summer, but i dont know if i should get a new bike or not. The radiator is dead, the engine often loses power, the plastic (and some of the metals) looks like sheisa and the shift lever is stiff. I like my bike but i dont want the radiator to blow out on the first lap, and have my wheel fall off on the second.
Bro I love it!!! Not sponsored by engine ice but if engine ice wanna sponsor HOLLA!!!!!
my man..
im a beginner and learning from you
Build a bike stand out of a pallet for free, use a jerry can not a gas can, use wd40 for chain lube (if you have an o ring chain) you donât need bike cleaner you can just use a pressure washer. Save your money for good gear and parts to keep your biking running.
I have the same exact white fox helmet đ€
That kid smacking ito the ramp was hilarious
I am going to tularosa this weekend you should come
Iâll be there
Good idea

Thank you for the support!
You do need to have a lot of money to afford these things.
Hi huge fan been here sence 7k
Can you do one about how to get a raceing number on your dirt bike
If you have any budget a bucket like a yeti or a Home Depot bucket works just fine just like a bike stand
Milk crates better
hey man i have a question how much is a good helmet like whats a good price point of a good helmet. is 200 aud too cheap for a helmet or too expensive lmk plz (:
the normal mix gasoline and oil for 2 stroke is
5 l gasoline"
100 ml oil
VP Race Gas - T2 for 2-stroke. If for no other reason than the smell! TJ's also has that!
Thanks for the extra tip!
Why VP race gas itâs over priced premium gas from the pump will do the trick, Iâm not too sure about oil since I have a 450 but I think Iâm going to buy a 2021 yz250 two smoker and Iâll have to look into that oil bc I love the smell and the better smelling the oil the better the bike
@@kaic9712 It's 105 octane with 0 ethanol and 40:1 mix with premium synthetic VP oil that burns super clean in your 2 stroke. This was actually a joke, to some extent though, because if you grew up like I did watching 2 stroke motocross than you know the smell of race gas is amazing. When my bike was at TJ's they were starting it up and people were coming to the work area from the showroom to smell the sweet richness. As long as you are getting ethanol free gas and mixing with premium synthetic oil, then you are fine.
I would get a couple
Not a lot of people realize that long socks are extremely helpful for any sport BMX skateboarding snowboarding they all really help cushion a good chunk of blows I wouldn't say sexy thigh highs are needed tho
I'm 33 and bought my first bike 20 years ago
i still don't own any of this , my neighbour does though.
lmao
Yo, does a stump/log count as a bike stand lol it's all I have im cheap haha
Can u guys please make a video on how to lean pls
Thanks for the advice! đ
@@TheMxFactory no my dad wants me to know to learn because i fell of my dirtbike
@@TheMxFactory I meant yes
Does anyone have any suggestions for a bike stand which will mostly be used to prop the bikes up for cleaning (so it will need to expose both sides and allow the wheels to spin) but is easier to get the bike onto? Iâm female and struggle to lift even a 110 onto them.
Get stand that pumps up
What if my foot is really big and I canât fit any riding boots or regular boots
I can't lift my bike to save my life, should I still get a stand? Can I get it up there without lifting? It's a ktm450xcf and I'm only like 5"10 so leaning its kickstand the higher handlebar is almost up to my neck
I just use a 2 by 4 and the help of my dad to load my bike đ
I wish that I could come and you could let me try to ride a dirt bike. We don't have enough money for me to do motocross but it is my dream. And we live in Pennsylvania. I watch all your videos.

Most of your grip on the bike should be in your legs at all times. Always be gripping with your legs
Turn down your rear rebound đ
You forgot a timer for the bike đ
A what ? Whatâs that for

GEAR. youâre gonna crash. Itâs part of dirt scootering.
Kickstands are amazing. You wonât always have a stand.
A stand for maintenance. Milk crates work.
2 gallon can fills up a empty YZ250 PERFECTLY.
Spare tubes or go with Tubliss
Bar guards. Youâre gonna crash. Youâre gonna mess up levers. Spare levers too.
As for gear, PLEASE PLEASE wear boots. Helmets and boots at a minimum. Elbow and knee guards are good. Neck brace is a bonus.
Basically, expect to crash. Expect to fall. Expect to drop the bike. Itâs ok. It happens.
You will learn to fall/ suddenly dismount quickly. Usually no big deal.
Whatâs up guys
Yo
chest protector Over or Under jersey?
They both protect you the same itâs mostly just what you prefer for looks
I use progreen
And always check your air pressure on both tires before and after you ride the motocross bike.
Hello I am new to dirt bikeing and I am an 11 year old, should I buy the klx 110 or a crf 80
How come no one ever reasopmds to me
Because you smell
Skid plate, engine hour meter, gas, boots, helmet, goggles, tires, spare levers, tire pump, spare tubes.

If your going to buy a bike of that age you will need to do some sort of work, possibly major work very soon because of the bikes age and it was probably ridden a lot
