I love how before this we had the cartoonish environment and slapstick of Fall Guys and then "YOU HAVE 22 MINUTES UNTIL THE UNIVERSE IS DEAD"
Careful...
get this game though
@@ZedAmadeus that answer is kind of spoiler too xD (and mine's too)
@@marceloarciniega4680 Ahaha, you're right... Damn! I'm also just realising this person may not have played the game and was being hyperbolic. Whoops!
0:00 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! 22 MINUTES?!
The fact that almost all of the comments are recommending Outer Wilds speaks for itself. It seem to have an effect on basically everyone who plays it.
It surprisingly unknown by many people but in my opinion (as many others) is a masterpiece
Outer wilds is no doubt regarded as the best game I have ever played, and its the single work of fiction that has had the most impact on me.
Outer wilds isn't only the best game I ever played.
It's the best work of fiction I have ever experienced.
A masterclass of game design
Hated every second of it.
@@eltopo71 maybe give explaining. Otherwise nobody will bother to listen or take you opinion seriously
this is genuinely one of the best games ever made. go into it as blind as possible because it only gets better from here
"As blind as possible" was already ruined by the Direct narrator. Come on, Nintendo... XD
When I played on PC, I had no idea there would be a time loop. Imagine my surprise when a giant inescapable ball of white and blue light enveloped me for the first time! (Didn't even realize the sun was growing!)
@@ReavoEnd I've never had a video game fill me with a sense of actual real doom, but this game did it. I was unaware what was happening the first time, but the second time the loop ended I just sat and watched
@@mistersniffles4996 Hahaaa right? First time I thought it was some sort of UFO that got me. Secone time I really witnesed it, realized what was going on and daang was that terrifying. Yo, this game gave me that sense of dread and doom MANY times playing it. Still gives me a bit of goosebumps whenever I jump back in.
@@ReavoEnd I cried through the whole credits dude. This game is important to me
is this game still worth it to play even if I know about the time loop mechanic... I usually play games blind but I watched razbutens video on this
If this looks even remotely interesting to you, please get this game. You will not be disappointed
Agreed. Also great prof pic
I mean, it sounds like an interesting mechanic, so why not?
What if it doesn't?
Reminds me of Pikmin, which I'm not super into. And it's first person, another thing I'm not that into.
@@isetmfriendsofire It is completely different than pikmin, and still buy it.
@@isetmfriendsofire How on Earth is it similar to Pikmin?
If you’re even considering getting this game, do yourself a favor and buy it, it’s seriously amazing.
Some strong recommendations here! I've never heard of it and now want to play it.
I accidentally got the outer worlds on the switch. Now I'm sad
@@yoshibeara3446 oh no!
That’s a bruh moment, you might enjoy it though
@@prettyoriginalnameprettyor7506 no it feels like a worse version of border lands
This was probably the most interesting non-first party announcement for me
IKR its a very good indie game!

Same here
Play it. I can't recommend this game enough. Go in knowing as little as possible though.
Hey, I wanna go into this as blind as possible, but I'm very excited by everyone's comments on the game. Could you tell me, what other game it's similar to, just to give an idea of what kinda gameplay to expect. Thanks! 😊
DON’T. SLEEP. ON. THIS. GAME
One of the best experiences in gaming, really. If you are into mysteries and space you will love it!
Was looking away when this came up and said "you have 22 minutes before the Solar System is destoryed!!" Lowkey had a heart attack
Nintendo ninjas at it again
Its been almost 2 years, i really hope we get an update soon
People still clearly want it. Maybe Tweet the devs like I did?
Me too 😭
Dam. It aint ever coming isnt it X-x
I went here to make sure it wasn't fake after not seeing it in the play store 😭
There’s not gonna be one I think. They tweeted about it.

Really annoying that they spoil the sun and the loop, but if you’re considering buying this game, do it!
It’s incredible.
Good think I forgot everything about this game and bought it a week ago and wasn't spoiled lolol
I dont think it's that bad, you would probably learn everything this trailer tells you in the first loop anyways
@@din5385while yes, I forgot about the sun and my first death was very memorable because of it. Knowing its going to happen would basically ruin that. ESPECIALLY them saying it's 22 minutes lmao, because that's huge discovery in game.
I'm genuinely jealous of all of the people who are going to play this for their first time soon. Mind blowing game.
Also, getting it to run on switch is very impressive. The developers have recoiled at the suggestion before haha
Indeed, the cutesy visuals hide behind them one of the most mechanically complex game worlda ever created. Props to the porting team!
To be fair, the original build of the game looked like a lost N64 game.
@@chiffmonkey It's not really the graphics that make it hard to run. So many systems interact with real time physics calculations. I've seen it crash decent systems when someone puts the scout on one planet, the ship on another, and themselves on a third
@@chiffmonkey looks like. Doesn't mean it's easy to run.
I never played this game before. And i want to today
damn, i love that outer wilds came to nintendo switch in the summer of 2021
same 😔
Every 22 months, the development of the game restarts from scratch. However, the team is able to retain the knowledge gained and move forward in its exploration of adapting the game to Switch. A real challenge, an infinite gameplay, for a real goal. Soon
Best game of 2019 and possibly the decade. If this looks even slightly interesting to you I implore you to get it, preferably without looking up anything else about it. You won’t regret it.
Bet
My number one game of all time. Nothing has or will ever best this game for me
@@mistersniffles4996 maybe a sequel?
It looks just Like suicide guy or the like to me....but I guess I will give it a try!
@@alessiocece2098 i highly doubt it. Maybe a spinoff. This is a one time journey that is so much more than worth every 1320 seconds
“22 minutes until the sun explodes”
That in itself is a spoiler. That’s how important it is that you go into this game without any information.
Also worth mentioning: this game is tied with BOTW for my most favorite game ever made, and they hold that position for very similar reasons.
It is incredible. Every time you pick up this game, you will have an incredible epiphany that will make you pause for about a minute and quietly think about the implications of what you just discovered.
It's technically a spoiler but the time loop is the main selling point of the game. It's even mentioned on the steam page
@@petey5009 yeah, i mean its really isnt a spoiler, if this is a spoiler then seeing marios new power up would be a spoiler
@@petey5009 my experience was 100% blind, and learning about the time loop was done by dying for my first time.
That was way better than reading it on the steam page.
@@ClicClikBang Definitely. It's a common spoiler, but it doesn't make it any less of a spoiler. Works as a selling point, but it's too bad that it needs to be that.
the fact this game works on anything is a miracle with some of the simulations and stuff it does. but the fact Mobius somehow got it working on a SWITCH is seriously like MIND BLOWING to me. like just HOW!? YOU CAN PLAY IT ON THE BUS NOW LIKE OH MY GOODNESS LOL HOWWWWWW
@@studiooftheoldwind137 They're talking about processing power. There are so many physics calculations going on at all times in this game that are pretty intensive and the Switch isn't as powerful as other consoles.

Honestly my favorite game of all time. Can't wait to force everyone I know to play it!

Why does anyone like this game? It Bored me to tears.
@@eltopo71 It relies on the player to be curious to progress which is why you probably find it boring, but that's also what makes it rewarding.
@@Beatness121 Curious about what though? The plot and the characters were totally uninteresting.
@@eltopo71 It starts out slow but the further you go on the more interesting it gets, you just have to have the initial curiosity to to get you to get far enough
Year 2 update: nope, it wasn't a dream. I'll come back in another 3 months.
If you love the open exploration of BOTW, good chance you will love this game. It is a masterpiece in my opinion.
This game is incredible, if you're reading this and haven't played Outer Wilds yet, please do so.
Ok I will! The reviews are crazy good.
I’m partly falling asleep during the live direct with the narrators overly happy and cutesy tone and then suddenly the guy just says “YOU HAVE 22 MINUTES BEFORE THE SOLAR SYSTEM IS DESTROYED”
Y'all, if you haven't played it, get it. And play it. One of the most finely crafted narrative experiences in gaming ever. This game will always hold a special place in my heart.
The switch port is quantum it only exists when observed by a conscious observer
For those of you wondering what happened to the launch of this game: the developers said in a recent showcase that the game would be out on Christmas this year.
so don't miss out ::D
Let's hope I don't forget about it by then. I just randomly remembered this game because of death loop.
Thnx dude!
Any more news?

Glad I waited with this one, definitely getting it for the Switch.
Lucky you!
You still waiting? :(
@@captaintogawa9736 yes 😔
Never played this. Never even heard of it. Reluctantly clicked, watched the trailer... I'm all in. They getting my money.
Don’t watch any gameplay videos. This trailer in itself just spoiled a major reveal by explaining the plot.
That’s how important it is that you go into this thing blind.
I assure you that you will be happy you did.
Am I the only one that is not seeing it on the Eshop?
Yeah sadly they seemed to have jumped the gun with ad. Still no news on when it'll be released. Hopefully this year! 🤞
this is one of the best games ever made, please get it!
Never played this, it’s looks sick. Definitely picking this up when it comes out
UPDATE: Curiosity got the better of me, I ended up getting it for PC and got absolutely addicted to it. I don’t want to spoil anything but my god... the ending was just.... wow. All I can say is for anyone that hasn’t played it or is gonna actually wait for the switch port, PLAY IT BLIND. I googled one thing about this game right near the end and suddenly a significant chunk of the endgame was spoiled. Cannot wait to replay this in a year or two when I’ve forgotten enough to experience it semi-properly again.
Its a great game one of my favourites. You should totally buy it!
One of my favorite game of all time. Recommend playing it as blind as possible.
You're in for a treat. It's amazing
The best game I played in 2020
Don’t look up ANY gameplay videos!
Trust me. You don’t want the experience spoiled.
A year later and still no release date.
Happy 2 year trailer versary!
If I could have Outer Wilds on the switch that would be soo cool.
We still waiting 💙
This is one of those games that leave a mark on you. The ones that are made from passion and push the industry forward. Buy it.
Release the damn game already! 🙇🏻 I've been craving this type of game for the switch for so long
I'm happy this is happening not because I can finally play it, I already did. I'm happy because this means more people are going to experience this masterpiece. If you haven't played this yet please do, this is an amazing game about space, discovery and curiosity (and try to avoid seeing any content of the game before playing, the whole purpose of the game is discovery)
*It's been 84 years* and no information whatsoever :c
It’s been a year. The Solar System hasn’t been destroyed.
I'm still waiting :(
One of my favourite games of all time, 100% would recommend
Another direct, another day with no launch date :(
Was really hoping to see some news today about a release date :/
Genuinely didn't care for this game when I first saw it in the direct. I bought it because everyone said it was amazing. It is one of the best games I have ever played
This game is an absolute gem, and one of the best I have ever played. I’m so happy that it is now on Switch!
Bruh I’ve waited 4 months now, just release it.
Almost a year later and still no news on when it will actually come out.
I’m so excited!
Don't you ever hesitate to buy this game. Played it and finished it last week. Since then I feel empty and I would give anything to play it again for the first time. It leaves something inside you, something that will make you come back at it every single day. I listen to the ost since i finished it and lord do I love it. It touches right where it should, my heart is so full when I start hearing the few first notes of the main title.
Do you know if it’s still coming to switch?
Watch a lot of playthroughs like I do😂
When will this release???? Still waiting for it lol
At this point why havent they realesed it?
*Buys Outer Wilds on Steam* Lovely.
*One month later, it comes out on Switch* Son of a-!
Now if only changed came to switch
*Prays* cmon dragonsnow can you?
WHY DO I SEE YOU EVERYWHERE
Also your pfp is goving me Vietnam flashbacks
So summer is here. When's this coming out?
I can't believe they put the game's biggest spoiler in the headline.
They also spoiled Giant's Deep :(
Bruh you discover it after 20 mins of gameplay it aint that big of a spoiler
I mean not really. Spoilers would be WHY its happening. Most players figure out its a groundhogs Day loop in the 1st hour.
@@cesarsantivanez4111 Not necessarily. Many players will die several times before they get to that point. I already had like 5 or 7 hours of gameplay when I found out what was going on.
@@cesarsantivanez4111 You discover it after 20 minutes, but it should be a complete shock to the player. Seeing the sun go supernova for the first time was hands down the most memorable part of my playthrough. The game doesn't tell the player at all until it happens, and it instantly shifted my perspective about the game's universe and the player's role in it.
But the Direct takes that away, probably to compare it to Majora's Mask. It doesn't take away much in the grand scope of the game, but this game more than any other should be played as blind as possible.
I remember going to a VRchat world where a campfire setting from this game was shown. I do not know of anything about Outer Wilds but the music made by the uh...alien travellers plus the ambience of that campfire makes me want to buy this game on Switch.

Biggest issue with this announcement, they ruin the surprise about the games mechanic. I know its already been out for a while but come on, at least people would've been like WOAH WHAT? Now the surprise is ruined for some.
the game's description on every storefront mentions the sun and the time loop. it's a shame but tbh it's really hard to sell someone a game with "explore a solar system and learn about an ancient race" as that sounds really bland and cliche. so i can understand why they did it.
@@ScarfKat yeah
Im saying It ain't too spoilers but still
@@ScarfKat Both Steam and Epic don't... They just say "time loop." Not that you have exactly 22 minutes because the sun explodes.

Sometimes I return here just to make sure it wasn't a dream
Edit: Today they finally announced the date. I’m beyond excited, I hope you enjoy it.
Why it doesn't already exist on switch?
@@miguelferrizjordan4212 It looks like it’s very difficult to port. Even on pc it can be a challenge to run the game. I really doubt it’s going to arrive to switch without a serious change of the mechanics. (Haven’t played, but I’ve read that the way the physics work are pretty complex.)
We can only hope, my friend.
@@lizagarnet7529 The physics engine and how the game renders are probably huge hangups, but around the start of 2020 was when they got the inspiration for EOTE so they most likely worked on that first, released in '21 and are now back to working on the switch port, which hopefully with the time it's taking will release as a full package with the game and dlc

I hate how this trailer reveals the entire premise of the game.
I recently got it on Playstation as it's free with Extra. And I remember seeing this game in this direct.
I wasn't certain it was the same game; that I would be in a timeloop because the sun exploded.
Yet experiencing that first Supernova is such a surreal experience. You hear the gentle chime of that dreaded music, End Times, creep in. And you see the giant red sun. As it crumbles up before exploding
You don't know what it is. Yet if you were lucky enough to survive long enough for this to be your first loop then god is it amazing.
No longer just a dream
i come back to this every couple of months just to make myself sad
Look at it this way, in an alternate universe somewhere an exact copy of you and me are happily sitting at home enjoying Outer Wilds, Hollow Knight 2 and Metroid Prime 4 on the switch totally unaware that in our actual timeline we’re expecting these games to release sometime just before the heat death of the universe.
I like to picture this alternate me as being kinda underwhelmed by these games as they didn’t really meet his expectations. For some reason it makes me less prone to random fits of uncontrollable wailing and toddler-like temper tantrums.
You should give it a try! Maybe it’ll help you too 🫠
I love how this is just a meme now
I love the fact that there’s a ton of spoilers in this one minute trailer.
