I lived there for 18 months too! Coming from Aus, I felt exactly the same about the groceries. I also found that people come and go and felt like that while you can meet alot of people, it was a lonely place for me. Overall, Dubai is still the best place in the world and I LOVED it!!!! Thank you for a great video ❤
Ahh that’s amazing girl! Yess just love it and didn’t mention the safety aspect ❤️
The video I was dyiiing for! Thank you so much for being so thoughtful to share your honest experiences and those really useful tips ❤
Good job, Olivia!❤❤

Hi Olivia. Thank you for the insight of your life in dubai. Stay blessed dear and as always, looking forward to your next upload😊
Loved this!! ❤
I've lived in Dubai for 9 months and we as a couple spend about 150dh a week on food - we cook from scratch every day. I guess it's different if you rely on delivery companies - we just walk to our local Viva, Nesto and Grandiose and shop around the for the cheapest items. I buy my chicken frozen from Kibsons which comes from Ukraine, so isn't pumped full of nasties. It's all about being shrewd really. You can of course spend all your disposable income on takeaways (tbf most people we know do) but it is perfectly feasible to live here and cook for yourself. We also get the bus and the metro, which you didn't mention - as we won't pay taxi prices - both services are clean and cheap!
I agree entirely about the heat. I won't leave my apartment during the summer months, it's vile. How people enjoy it here I just don't know - I can't wait to move back to England next summer once my husband's contract is up. Dubai certainly isn't for everyone!
I love Dubai content...
Nice job
As many who have come before you, it is what you make of it that determines your experience.
Absolutely! 🫶🏼
