These are great. Much simpler than ratchet straps and more rugged than the typical cam buckle straps out there. I mostly use to secure two rafts on the roof of my car when fishing to shuttle between the put-in and the takeout. Pro+ tip - put a twist in the strap before securing to avoid that harmonic hum sound at highway speeds.

Something similar happened to mine too. I was able to fix it by cutting the webbing at an angle with a sharp pair of scissors and melting the end with a lighter. It was as good as new after that.

Thanks. This explains the lock down loops better than the packaging.

Thanks so much! And we second that tip to put a twist in the straps for highway driving. 👍
What would you use the lock out configuration for?
Looks useful but more complicated than I'd like for a strap of this size
Love these straps, use them all the time
Thanks i needed this 🤗
Of course!
The lockout is surprisingly useful. If you want to just do the normal loop just use a normal strap
For the CamJam straps, how exactly is the lockout configuration useful? I'm struggling to think of when and why you'd need to use it that way.
Mine take a set after a while and are a real pain to loosen up
Thanks a lot😊
Love your products but damn, you guys complicated an already proven design.
Was coming to say the same thing. Their engineers must be bored.
You said it. wow seems very complicated to remember especially after you haven't used it in 6 months.
@@MWDAdventuresor drank 6 beers.
They work great, but mine frayed at the end and I had to cover with Duck Tape which makes the last section difficult.

This happened to me after 5 mins with the damn thing
Whats the load capacity on these?
700lb working load limit!
Yikes. Kind of complicated. Guess I'll go back to the truckers hitch video.
Just want something to transport my IKEA purchases with out whipping my self in the face with a bungee and scratching the roof of my car to bits. 🤯
D
I have no idea how to use these. The packaging does not explain it adequately. They need a better video than this.
