It's a trailer. There's no such thing as a "pilot film".
A pilot is a proof-of-concept for a TV series, not a film, used as a way to convince a network to buy the series.
This trailer isn't telling a detailed story, but rather showing a edited sequence of scenes strait out of the 2hr long film set to instrumental music.
