The amount of plastic that washes up on beaches everywhere, breaks my heart. Such pristine beauty, tainted by human rubbish. I do love a good trash to treasure moment and beachcombing, though. Catching fish with lures you found and fixed up would be awesome. Nail polish can usually be found at clearance prices. That's a cheap source of lacquer paint for lures :D
Agreed! Will pack a bit for next time. Would have come in handy, as well as spare split rings and good hooks
If you stand in the smoke of your fire ,that covers your scent for the bugs...........smell like smoke but better than being bit !!! Cheers

The bugs are the worst thing when boating or just camping .. I fell for you two . I have been were the biting bug out number the grass on the ground lol . And lets say I only spent one night there lol .

This is so good, well done you guys! I've often thought that all that plastic could be recycled into a rotomoulded boat like a Polycraft, Quantum cat or Fat Cat (NZ built). All that plastic could be redrafted into something to be used for many years & not float around as flotsam! 🎣✌💪🙏
