  • In this video, I show how I created my Pendulum Swing and the Formula I use for my Paint Consistency. I have adjusted my swing using carabiners instead of wires in some places.
    Hope you enjoy the video. Let me know what you use for your pendulum.
    Bye for now!

    How do you cover the canvas with the base paint so we’ll without it showing through, it seems like it’s taking me numerous coats and it still shows. And what kind of paint do you use for the base

    • @RhondasTriRRRtistry
      @RhondasTriRRRtistry  Před 9 měsíci

      There are different levels of opaqueness and even translucency in paint. So some paint depending on the level of transparency or opaqueness could show the canvas or other pain through layers of paint. An easy place to look to see is in the tube or jar of paint. Some will have a a box or a “+” sign. Let me know what you see and I can help guid you or you can google what it means on line. 😃 let me know if you have any other questions!

    • @RhondasTriRRRtistry
      @RhondasTriRRRtistry  Před 10 měsíci

      It was an 1/8 of an inch but it all depends on how thin your paint is. It could be thicker and use a thicker hole. I would practice before you use it.

    Rhonda I need some guidance. After watching your video I have been trying(unsuccessfully) to create one. The issue I'm having is although I get a steady stream the paint comes out blochy no matter how thin or thick the paint is. I am using a ketchup/condiment bottle I bought from Walmart inverted and cut in half and in a leg weight swing like the one you use. Do u have any suggestions?

    • @RhondasTriRRRtistry
      @RhondasTriRRRtistry  Před rokem

      Do you have an "air hole/open area" when you turn the bottle upside down? The paint needs the help of air to push it down in a steady stream. Think about when you sip on a bottle of water or your favorite beverage. If you complely inicirle the area the beverage is coming out with your mouth, it comes out slower but if you have a space above your mouth where the bottle has air when drinking the beverage it flows faster in a more steady stream. Im not sure I am explaing this very well...so here is an example from my college days...maybe you might have seen when people poke a hole in the side at the bottom of a can...let's say a beer can...then when they put that up to their mouth and then pop the top of the can, they can drink it very fast. 😁 If you do have airflow from above the paint once you tip it for the pendulem and it sill isn't working...let me know and I can help more.

    Rhonda cut a hole into the other end of bottle to get it to flow

  • @cliffordharley4322
    @cliffordharley4322 Před 3 měsíci +1

    If you heat up the end of the drill bit before you start drilling , you might not crack the cup? Also, if you set the cup down like your going to fill it and drill the bottom from the inside, you might have better luck! Just make sure you put the cup on a piece of scrap wood or something!
