  • Looking to bounce back after a mid-week loss at a very soggy Beaconsfield Town, the Geordies we're faced with a tough task of a second placed Gosport Borough looking to cement their play-off place.
Neither team could boast a plethora of chances. Hanwell's best chance came just after the hour mark as Sam Evan's found himself in a good amount of space in the box but his effort was smartly saved by Gosport's Toby Steward. The Boro had the ball in the back of the net in the final moments of added time, Dan Wooden's header was however ruled out due to a foul in build up and the game finished all square.
Hanwell's next game is this coming Thursday against Sholing at home, hoping the game is completed at the third time of asking. Then on Saturday it's the penultimate away day of the season as we travel down to Dorchester Town.

You have good players, but other sides play with an edge: passion.
    Your players dont show that.
    They just about do enough.
Do you think Hendon did the same? They won games like FA Cup matches.
    That's why we're safe and you're not.
