Seriously, you don't need to do a bunch of studies, planning, and designs when the safety of children is at risk. Just put the signal or multi way stop signs up! Had the same issue in the avenues, way back in the late 70s at the intersection of 3rd Ave and K St. Had a lot of car accidents and people getting hit by cars. We were told by the city that they couldn't put in a 4 way stop because if they did and someone gets hurt the city could get sued. We reminded them if they don't do something and someone gets hurt they could still get sued. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
It takes some terrible accident like this for Spanish fork city to get something done! I worked on the new high school go down this road always alert on the children on this street i could be youre child
What do you think should be done? Do you think really a crosswalk would work neither of Mohr smart enough to look both ways and you’re expecting both of them to use a crossing walk and hit a button for stupidity.

Is there a reason why both when crossing a street it never dawned on either to look north ways? Also what kind of parent would let their child let alone one they are watching to leave and go across a busy street. This is really bad parenting and pure stupidity for the two kids not to look both ways.

They should set up a GoFundMe page for the driver who hit them because the kids were too stupid to look both ways when crossing, and I also hope they charge the parents with child abuse because of the kids were apparently not responsible or accountable enough at this age to look both ways, I hope the judge prosecute them to the fullest of extent lawI will give those kids money but we should open up one for the driver go fund me page for them. I’m sure they’re going to need some therapy after two kids went in front of the car cause they weren’t paying attention to the driver.
