It’s about time! I lived out there till 1969 and loved it. Loved growing up in Maili! My dad used to drive to Kapiolani Hospital to take my mom to work. They drove on Farrington Hwy (before there was a freeway). Didn’t the telephone poles all fall down twice within a few years locking down Waianae residences?

City spends too much money on the rail that serves only three thousand people a day. A secondary road on the west coast would serve tens of thousands of people. Guess where they money should be spent. The community on the west coast is huge.

There's still going to be a bottleneck on Farrington by Manners Beach. They should restore the rail out there and keep it simple, none of this huge expensive stuff like the Skyline.

These reps act as if they’re doing anything. First off, that whole road needs to be re-paved. Second, this road is so out of the way. For morning traffic, it’ll just mark traffic in more areas. In afternoon traffic, this road is after the traffic.

100% the traffic buildup is due to the 3 schools in nanakuli, this road is literally useless
makes me mad seeing them all celebrate and act all giddy when this does nothing but pad their construction management buddies pockets

Ummmm….there is no illegal dumping on that road. People exercise on there and it goes into a residential area

Still only one direction out. Why not make access around the north side so there's opposite way to go. If you don't want to disturb Kaena Point, no worries, make a tunnel through mauka side or go over the nountain. Get back the military land area. Our State Reps need to figure it out for our Ohana on the West side.

Ed Sniffingass and his DOT scams. They been repaving the freeway for over 3 years already and nobody really noticing how they're milking it doing barely any work except making noise at night and talking story while cops catch the freebie ride sitting in their cars doing nothing.
