@@fearless1905 unfortunately no. There's few nice cables with a mic, let alone volume control for 2 pin IEMs. I'm still searching for one.

Beware of the QC issues on this one! I received a cable that had the guides to plug them in properly (all the way into the iem with the B type) and it was molded backwards so it can't really fit perfectly. I also heard of a lot of people having the cable wired wrongly and having phase issues.
Hello brother. Great review! I would like to ask something however. The seller online claims that these would improve the sound quality of the buds. I highlight doubt that claim but I'll ask anyway. Is it actually true that using the silver plated cables improve the sound? Thank you very much!

I also dislike metal wire in KZ cables and others so I always ended up removed it. Before ditching old cable for good I recommend you trying removing silicon tube and metal wire. For me the fit is much better afterwards (because there' no guidelines for the cable - it just hangs from your ears). In few days of use cable takes form of the natural curve of your ears and holds it well enough for comfortable use (tried with new KZ cable from ES4 and TFZ S2 cable - later one doesn't have metal and just pure silicon memory wire which was quite good, but I still prefer bare cable with no memory|metal wire).

Are these too tight on the ears? The TRN cables seems to be too tight on my ears that it does cause discomfort. Since they do have the angle of bend, they might have the uncomfortable tight fit.
For me they feel just right.

Has anyone has trouble with the red colored pin? I have purchased twice and there were no sound from both red pin coming out. Im using KZ ZST and both earbuds works with the default cable and also i have tested with the blue pin for both earbuds and they work fine

Alpha Xion yes!!...white KZ upgrade cables turn green....does not affect performance, but aesthetically not very appealing.
People asking which one to use with ZSN's- Go get the Type B. It fits great with zsn, only leaves a 1-2mm gap which is barely noticeable. But the fit is great. Doesn't come loose easily I'm really happy with mine.

They sell a usb type c cable but in the regular braided kz style cable
But why haven't you compared the sound quality of new vs Old (Silver plaited) cable? I don't care about fit that much

Hizkiannic I guess not. They all sound the same.
silver on its own sound brighter than copper and bass is less prominent but some swear by it

I think any b-pin cable will do, not sure, I just bought this kz gold silver cable and the seller said b-pin will work on kz edx. I don't have the cable yet but having the seller said that b-pin will work for my edx makes me feel at ease.

Basically you can put type A and B to type C (ZSN) but you can't reverse it. But it would fit better if you use type C(more secure). If u use type a or b it would b more sticky¿ (idk how to say it eng is not my native language) since type c like zsn are lil bit angled.

You're right. It doesn't. One side will lose audio after few months.

Video not worth the electron flow
KZ fan...but thus far...KZ made upgrade cables are not worth it! They oxidize to butt ugly green color...does not affect sound, but who wants to see green cables. TRN, Yinyoo, Linsoul, and many other upgrade cables available on AliExpress that have a better fit over the ears, pins seat easier, and available for about the same cost as KZ cables. KZ puts out incredible IEMS...but there cables and eartips have historically been inferior, even KZ upgrade cables are far below their competitors and disappointing.
The bad thing is that they don't last longbat all. After a few months, one side will lose audio due to bad sleeve. Bought two and both had the same problem.
