As for Charlie about Angels not making mistake "You really think that" being said by her and her expression says everything. He's literally saying to the daughter of THE angel who made the biggest mistake, that they don't make mistakes. And then Lute quickly swoop in, not letting it become a conversation
Pilot had better voice actors and better execution of Sinners especially Katie, she made me just feel like shxt with her comments, presence and so on, nobody in the show even are threatening and dont feel like they're vile and from a adult show, Val in Addict also gave more unsettling and frightening parts than in the show, nothing about him there is scary and he just comes off as a joke in many places & sxxual in a unimpressive edgelord way.
i disagree with you respectfully. valentino is supposed to represent abusers who seem to be dumb or make themselves charming and non threatening but underneath that veil they are monsters exploiting someone like angel dust. many people think abusers should look threatening or be always vile on the outside but that is not true most of abusers disguise themselves as good people lol
and tbh katie killjoy is only shown reporting some news that's mostly the screen time problem. and about the voice actots yes. while it's sad that pilot voice actors had to be replaced if vivziepop's dream was integrating broadway style current voice actors fit more in my opinion. but you can always prefer pilot cast i respect your opinion
The thing with Hazbin Hotel is that it is executed as a show that can give you a good laugh here and there and is geuninely a good show just to listen to. But the plot and writing at times makes zero sense.
my thoughts: i think while charlie seems to have not contributed to redemption directly but she definitely created an environment where sinners can interact with each other closely not for crimes but with friendship and bond. like imagine if there was no charlie. sir pentious will get killed by vaggie's spear immediately. the reason why sir pentious stayed at the hotel in the end of 2nd ep was because of charlie's forgiveness and acceptance. if charlie never brought alastor husk will not be there to help and understand angel dust
if charlie did not recruit angel he will have to constantly go to val more than current situation. sure he still goes to val for work but at least the fact that hotel's owner is morningstar family presumably made vox stop val from doing stupid things etc go to hotel and force angel dust back. and tbh while charlie's development will seem small but i think her development will be slow burn. you will not notice difference or development of her character until the end of season or even at the end of series. she not only learns how important it is to not cross personal boundaries but tried not to make same mistakes by not forcing angel dust back and even admitted and recognized her mistakes. she relies on violence for protection of sinners instead of just sticking to the plan of persuading heaven after realizing heaven's hypocrisy. i think the reason why charlie seems to be portayed as weaker than adam is because she never used her magic or fought for violence so it makes sense. i think charlie's full childhood backstory is not revealed yet so we will definitely slowly learn her past involving etc being sheltered because of protection of lucifer or lilith and even how she came up with redemption.

Charlie shows Angel because he's her first choice, she says exhibit A, showing that she has multiple people to talk about. Adam highjacks everything which is why Charlie seems unprepared. And the show, shows you that she didn't expect him to be there in the first place.

i also think when she stopped adam's punch she unconsciously did that and that's not even her full power. the fact that you have insane power doesn't mean you can also utilize that power well without experience. i think charlie will grow much stronger throughout the series
interesting point i noticed is if you pay attention to ep 1's lucifer intro story lucifer also knows how to use sparkling firework power in the background

i admit this fandom can be toxic at times. i can understand some fans overreacting to criticism because this series has also a lot of haters harassing fans calling them dumb or even evil just for liking the show. and there were some genuine haters blindly and obsersively emphasizing only bad aspects of show even treating this as same as velma and calling their reviews objective. i think fans need to accept fair criticism like you have on this video AND also haters should not harass or bully fans for the sake of god
And Vivziepop needs to actually listen to those criticism instead of looking for negativity in every corner. The sooner she starts taking accountability for her own shortcomings and actually strive to do better, the less toxic the fandom will hopefully become. But of course, they're just dreams, so don't expect it to happen at all. The less she makes a fool out of herself, the less haters she has.
@nevaehhamilton3493 tbh recently vivziepop never engaged with refuting every criticism trending for a while so there might be hope but idk if that means she realized something. but even before vivziepop was hated by people because of her writing there were already hatedom and these days this toxic fans and haters' obseesive and unnecessary hate and valid criticism of people who are or were fans are mixed together so much that we can't distinguish them. that's the saddest part. people sometimes have to let go of the show and move onto another show but they enjoy harassing and even sending death threats to fans and artists and call it a day which is the saddest part.

Lucifer sends Charlie because when she talked about her relationship with her, she explicitly says that he only calls if he needs something or if he's bored. Given she's not just Princess but also Heir even though Lucifer is immortal, it implies that Charlie is being prepared to rule over Hell and so then with what she says, it's clear he sends Charlie to do his job, given it's also quite obvious through context that Lucifer doesn't want to rule
and to add,i'm personally excited for season 2 because vivziepop confirmed she will put sir pentious' backstory when he was alive and some of other characters' backstory
she also implied the rule of death in hell will be more clarified etc what happens when sinners kill each other or when angels kill sinners. charlie's voice actress erika henningsen also gave hints that charlie will get depressed or feel more confliced and we will get a song based on that story and her voice will be much more different than her usual happy voice in that song.i hope the pace of show gets slowed down a little bit by making the numbers of episode or running time of each episode a little longer and give us world buildings as said in the interview. if you want to know where i got this information it is from ladie's night collider.i will give you a link
Hopefully if it did well enough, they'll bump it up to a full 12 episode season like most series are now.
Don't expect it to not be rushed like with Season 1.
Hazbin Hotel is a golden masterpiece it's way better than most adult shows including the stupid Velma Show Hazbin Hotel has better characters better story better pacing and it's a musical I like musicals and I like the Characters of Hazbin Hotel and I like Charlie she's my favorite character and seriously far too many adult shows have selfish ungrateful characters who are mean 24 7 to each other all the time Charlie x Vaggie is my favorite Character Couple and I'm excited for Angel Dust x Husk too
Adam is my favorite villain and I consider him a dark reflection of Charlie and who Charlie could've become if she didn't have her friends girlfriend and father there for her to help her out.

Lucifer made a deal with Heaven that only sinners would be exterminated, the immortals like Charlie were supposed to be spared as per that deal. Adam threatened to kill Charlie while Lute killed Dazzle in the battle which broke the deal allowing Lucifer to finally step in.
For Razzle and Dazzle, they could have been given to her before they had a falling out
vivziepop said some details of pilot is not canon but its main event is canon so i'm assuming they changed lucifer calling her failure to disagreeing with her plan and probably said harsh about her project but not herself.
Every ruler has been made softies including Ozzie and Bee, no shxt she changed that and Lucifer was loving, that's what I hate about these shows, Viv can't stick with them representing evil and bad things.
@artistanthony1007 whatever. although i disagree i can see your point and respect that. vivziepop still made mammon who is faithful to a sin of greed and the rest of sins seem to show good sides of what we thought as a sin. for example pride of one's own family, physical love with agreement and happiness caused by eating food and drinks etc. you can dislike the show and leave your opinion respectfully like this comment and i truly appreciate that you did it

Charlie being a flat/static character doesn’t work cuz these characters need to have the truth but the problem is she doesn’t have the truth and the story has shown this multiple times and she’s only right when the plot demands it so no she can’t stay static it would work naive characters I are inherently design to change also Charlie is an idiot 3 of the most powerful people in the show who tell her the truth about how things work with logic who has far more experience then her & she doesn’t have an argument against she’s going off of possibility not probabilities which isn’t good for a business.
This is an interesting take. Someone who considers it a bad show but genuinely loves it.
I think it’s like how people enjoy fast and furious movies. They not critically very good, but they’re enjoyable!

It's honestly not that crazy of an idea to grasp. I mean look at those shitty horror movies. Nobody are watching them for the plot or the writing. It's just what people see that get people interested. Same thing here. Hazbin Hotel is a great show to get a good laugh in and just to zone out even though half it doesn't make sense.
Angel dust is a writers u can take him out the show and it would probably be better he’s gay quagmire but he’s not funny along with the fact the writers can’t situation like this good
For the Charlie segment, it's pretty straight forward and the shows, shows you. It's also portrayed very realistically. From Charlie's side, she has as much authority as she's willing to exert and we already know that she really doesn't like to exert her authority and never makes her being a princess be a big deal about her, except as a joke, if she has to or cus Adam really pissed her off.
For others, she has as much authority and presence as they themselves believes she does. Val is very cordial because he most likely perceive her as a threat, Katie doesn't because it's her own view. Charlie pretty much tells you she never calls her dad and she has to be pushed to do so when she needs it. She literally does not like using her powers, both politically and magically and she's also too nice to be using her own father for her own gain until pushed. Therefore, nobody would be scared of her father if they do something to her cus he'd never even know. Some are much less scared than others. You talked about show don't tell, it is shown and not told.

Charlie isn't weak and did not fight full force from the start because she's a pacifist and doesn't want to hurt people, this isn't what she wanted. She's constantly holding back. We know she has powerful fire and explosive powers and so on, but all she uses is anon angelic trident. She hesitated and gave him a chance after stabbing him because that's who Charlie is. Vaggie spares Lute because yes she killed a bunch of angels but they weren't even a fight. It's either she swings and they die or they don't even approach her. Lute lost the fight and was pinned. Vaggie is one of the people Charlie redeemed, that's the whole point of Vaggie's character, feeling she's worth nothing beside being Charlie's protector and now she fights for love. And Lucifer is late, we don't know why bit it most likely has to do with his severe depression. It could actually very much be him just waking up too late.
Vaggie is still an Angel, being fallen doesn't make you not an Angel and the show kinda shows that with Lucifer given he was able to hurt Adam bare handed. The show is actually very consistent on the rules of how to hurt an angel. Angels can hurt angels, weapons just have the same property as Angels, it's why the Exorcists hurt their head on Alastor's magic shield, because the shield is not moving, they are hitting it. It's why Lute hurts Vaggie with a table and so on. Also the implication they don't know and Carmilla having been cornered but only killing 1 Angel, is again something shown but not told. Vaggie was fallen the moment she spared 1 sinner. Adam and Lute not knowing who killed that Angel shows us that any failure has HARSH consequences, they fled for their lives and if they spoke up, they would have been harshly punished. Also Alastor did not do any damage on Adam, when they say "Hurt angels" they mean kill, you can hurt an angel without Angelic Steel as a demon but not injure or damage them.

I'm also really excited for season two, and the info you gave me about their future plans for season two definitely builds up some hype for me!

I don't know... I think Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are good. I like the music personally. I like all the stories... I have to say it's better than Cartoon Network and what they are doing. I will be bashing cartoon network... not all cartoons have to be kid friendly... I think cartoons/anime in this era like Spawn the Anime are actually what cartoon needs like Archer!, Futurama!, Samurai Jack.
Well. You have to admit that some of the writing and plot points can be writen terribly. I love the show (just finished watching it) and I think the songs, animation and the acting was on point. And sometimes that's all you really need you don't need a show that makes you need to think and I think Hazbin executes that idea perfectly (even though that was not the intention)
Why do you want to be told about Double Death when you're asking to not be told about everything and you literally come to your own conclusion which you say you should in an adult show and you literally put your finger on the rules. Sinners cannot permanently die without being killed by Holy Light, whether it's from an angel or an angelic weapon. Sinners regenerate slowly. Hellborns can be killed through normal means except high ranking Hellborns and no one in hell can kill Charlie besides her family because she's third strongest in hell. You answered your own question. The stakes are that if Charlie doesn't protect them, she loses everyone while she's left behind alive. And that if a sinner regular dies, they take a while to regenerate and the Extermination of all Sinners.
Well Charlie can die and i believe that she is even weaker than the Sins. Plague just has a lot of questions that aren’t answered in the show and you have to do extra research for which a casual watcher that enjoyed the show wont do

@@Raven_The_Unkind yeah but at the save time she said that the sins are ranked on power based on where their ring is placed yet Asmodeus is still considered the weakest Sin. Maybe Charlie just has the potential to be as strong as that but isnt

The thing about the scene where Husk spells it out to everyone and Charlie refusing to use her power. You say the show should let us come to the conclusion, but it does, Vaggie having little to no self worth given she makes her entire worth being Charlie's protector shows that she hates herself. Charlie be so unwilling to use her power speak to her character that YES it is performative, just like Angel Dust, but it's not fake. Charlie doesn't like to use her powers because she believe in freedom, absolute freedom, just like her father, but also. She doesn't really particularly want to be treated like anything but just Charlie. The only time she introduces herself as Princess is either a joke or because she HAS to, otherwise, she never tell anyone her last name or title, only just Charlie.
And it is performative because Charlie is overcorrecting. You can tell many time, when kindness doesn't work, she goes to manipulation and when that doesn't work, explosive anger. She also swears like someone that uses to swear a lot but is making an effort not to, which is why it mainly only comes out when she's excited or angry. She's also much too quick to go from bubbly to serious and being able to take charges seriously for Charlie to just actually be a one dimensional bubbly ditz. Being happy and kind is who she is but also, we know due to a picture in Lucifer's room, that she was Goth. She's also over 200 years old and she's only NOW doing this even though it's always been her dream. As Katie Killjoy says "Brand new" passion project. Charlie's being doing a lot before which we don't know.
It's performative because hell affected her just as much as the others and she pulled herself back out and is not trying to help people. She's even more quick to anger than Vaggie, who's characterized by being done with everyone's shit. It's all there. It's being told to us a bit in a natural organic way to confirm is
A single conversation can solve years of their issues because Charlie is characterized as Unconditional Forgiveness. She just needs time, she also has a lot of difficulty to hold a grudge and you can see that she's forcing herself to hold it, but also that she's ready to forgive. We do not yet need to know what the exactly thing that happened was, because the Extermination being part of it is enough for this current story in the season. You have the proof with Vaggie later. She doesn't even talk with Vaggie and she even gets the shrunken head gift before even talking with Rosie

I don't think Sera will be a villain, a reluctant antagonist though, yes. Every single time Lucifer's fall is brought up. Sera is excluded from the equation. In the prologue which is diegetic because it's a book Charlie actually has. Sera isn't portrayed as part of the Elders that judged him, only portrayed as one of the angels that started humanity and also looking down in shame over the exorcist. If it's a book Charlie has which talks about her at the end. This is written by someone in hell, most likely her parents. Why would they portray Sera being in shame of agreeing? Just like you constantly see her regret on her face in the Hearing. Then we see in Lucifer's song, Sera isn't one of the Seraphim that pulled spears on him. Then in the Hearing, she talks about Emily's potential fall, not that she would fall him. And lastly. How can Lucifer get Charlie to meet someone in Heaven if he's banned? Sera is indeed the ruler of Heaven, she's based on Seraphiel in Judeo-Christian scripture, the leader of the Seraphim and described as Tall as the 7 Heavens, which is why she's so tall. Now, how can someone banished be able to get his daughter to meet the Ruler? Cus his connection to Heaven IS Sera. That's why she's willing to hear Charlie in the first place.
Well if the theory which idk if its confirmed or not its true that Lucifer was a seraphim himself and we only saw another seraphim other than sera which is Emily her younger sister. What if Lucifer if the younger brother of Sera and he feels betrayed getting kicked by his own sister which you said is the ruler of heaven which means she definitely had a vote in it. And Lucifer has meetings with heaven all the times like the one in the first episode which Charlie went to cause Lucifer couldn’t. There is one thing to get banned there is something else to get completely ignored by heaven after. They made a deal too for the extermination not to kill hellborns

Of course she had a say in the vote though, my point was that because of the visuals and context, Sera didn't fall him, she was most likely the only one against the fall but 6 vs 1 wins in favor of fall
The Pilot's events are canon, not the visuals. The Song, Chasing rainbows and her voice message with Lilith implies that Lucifer called her a failure. They most likely had a huge fight over the extermination to the point that Charlie left and he thought he couldn't come back. It also circle back to Freedom, Charlie will not use someone unless she really has to because using someone is a pretty negative thing to do, that's why she said it herself, she never asked him anything before and this is the most important thing she ever did.
It has Disney vibes because the premise is literally Disney princess in Hell that swears
about them bleeding when slamming into the sheild, theyre wearing masks, its very possible the masks have a strong impact on their face and cause bleeding
