Since wrapping up the role of Lucious Lyon, actor Terrence Howard has retired and come out of retirement! The actor, who originally rose to fame in Hustle & Flow, is now getting involved with Delta Blues - a show following the life of the father of Blues.
And what about Taraji P. Henson, who played his onscreen wife, Cookie Lyon? She’s trying her hand at directing since leaving the show! As for Trai Byers, who plays eldest son Andre Lyon, can be spotted in the 24th trailer 2020 drama movie!
As for Jussie Smollett, who plays middle son Jamal Lyon, he’s also putting on his director hat after legal issues forced him to leave the show. As for Bryshere Gray (Yazz the greatest) who plays Hakeen Lyon, hasn’t done much after being arrested.
She may have won notice for her role in Precious, but Gabouey Sidibe (Becky) is leaving the music business to star in a thriller called Antebellum alongside Janelle Monae. Finally, Vivica A Fox is finding her rhythm in a bunch of movies for lifetime! So that’s the Empire cast where are they now!

I miss empire too but after a while it can have so many seasons and drag so long it was time for them to come to an end but the last episode was Rush yeah that should be redone but a whole another season of empire no I don't think because it nothing else for them to throw in there it's time for them to come out with new projects

The ending was great! I was afraid, they would kill off Jamal. It was sad, they didn’t bring him back, he was a big part of the show. Lee Daniels, cheep a$$, only bad those young people. 20, 00. an episode while he made millions. Cookie, deserved her spin off. However, all will be well, to those who are directed toward the light. Glad Terrance Howard, will still, been seen on screen. Love Tray Byers, and Grace. May Most High, shine a light on Yaz , as well as them all!👏🏾👏🏾

I guess everything changed with the pandemic because Lee Daniels said he was going to come back with the last season of 7 since things didn't end the way he would have liked in season 6. Then there was also supposed to be a spin-off with Taraji/ Cookie Lyon. Yep, I'm disappointed too. I miss my Empire

I stopped watching mid season 3. I think the first season was great and the second was okay but the third was just boring. I think they didn’t know what to do with the show past the first season and it really showed.
