    I hope Caterpillar keeps on make EMD engines and doesn't go screwing up a brilliant engine design. Hopefully we'll see these locomotives for many more years to come. Thanks for sharing.

    Great camerawork and great trains in a great setting. Soon as I win the big lottery I'm booking my flight to the land down under. Thanks for sharing these views of your mysterious country/continent.

    Those are so strange and cool to see if you are from the states. I like to model them with a Santa Fe war bonnet then show up to train club it.

    These engines look like F7A units at each end sitting on an SD9 chassis!

    Interesting to see the word "railroad" in a British Commonwealth.

    Excellent video. As an American railfan of 60 years, I didn't realize that double-ended EMD locomotives were made. Also, what is the gauge on this railroad ?

    • @emd645e3c
      @emd645e3c  Před 5 lety

      This is standard gauge, same as USA (4" 8 1/2' ). They are still in use here on broad gauge as well ( 5"3' )

    Really nice collection of videos BUT... sadly filmed too close to the level crossing so the audio of the locos revving up is *overwhelmed* by the bells of the level crossing! Next time, please get away from them. Thanks!
