I considered this stove but was concerned about the size for maintaining a fire to cook on. Seeing how you used the feeding port on the front looks like it would be pretty easy to maintain with the right size wood prepped. I just wish it was a cheaper, the TI version seems crazy priced for the size. Great demo. Thanks for sharing.
+NorwegianWoods I really like titanium for that reason. Lightweight and it heats and cools quickly. Not the best for holding heat but for this application beautiful.
I have the original titanium emberlit and absolutely love it. I've had it for a few years, and use it all the time. Great demonstration of the new smaller version.
i have to say i do like the winter back packing videos, i live in Ireland and we don't get much if any snow so its nice to see some winter back packing vids.
Ok, I'm convinced, I'm gonna fork out the money and order one of these little guys. I like the minimalist design of this stove and the size would work perfect for my solo hikes. Thanks for the review, bud!
I put my Trangia alcohol stove in the upper slots, which creates a very rigid stove So I have both the Trangia and the ability to have a wood stove This stove is lighter than the Trangia Triangle
Did you happen to put a trangia on the plate? I'm interested to see the distance between the burner and the bottom of the pot, and nobody has shown that.
Great video on this little stove. I have a Trangia 27 kit but received another Trangia burner last Christmas as a gift. Been looking at little stick n' spirit burners for a while and now I have more of a reason to get one. Just came across your channel, +1 sub from me.
The titanium fireant weighs 3.6 oz with the bottom tray installed. With all pieces it weighs 4 oz. With only the side pieces it weighs 3 oz, and it’s flimsy. Just want to clear that up for anyone who wants the truth about the weight. All pieces in the included storage sleeve weighs 4.5 oz.
Darn it Ben! I haven't tried out my new titanium Emberlit yet and now I want this mini one! Excellent video! I'll definitely add this to the list of things to buy!
So question, and I hope to get an answer. I really am considering this stove. I run a heavy cover canteen set. Throughout this video you say the stove is good for a quick boil. I bake in my canteen up and fry in it etc. can it do more in-depth cooking beyond boiling water? Thanks for all your great videos!
iPac9mm nice. I bought the titanium fire ants they fit perfect in my center line systems mother so they work great with my canteen kits. I think I might get a 3rd maybe the bigger one to add to my main cook kit for my fry pan and bigger pot. Is the bigger one worth it compared to the fireant? I was just gonna get another fireant.
How do these compare to the standard size canteen stoves from the canteen shop or the cup stove from the pathfinder school? Because they nest around your cup, space is less of an issue though they may be a bit heavier.
I'm undecided between this UL Compact Design Titanium Emberlit or the toak titanium, please give me your advice? You've had experience with TOAKS titanium wood stove? I do not know what to buy
+Jorge Abreu the toaks is more efficient but harder to control temps. the emberlit is great all around and one of my favorites. the toaks nests better if you have the cup but then you take up all your cup space. hard decision between those two.
+jo lo I don´t think you need a big knife to enjoy the outdoors. I recon that you could make firewood for a stove like that with just your hands. It is easy to get tricked into the belief that a large knife is the key to the woods, but it really isn't. A small folding saw and a small folding knife goes a long way :) - Martin
+jo lo Also in the UK, yes knife laws are strict but more so with what we can EDC carry. I have Schrade and Becker knives, just wouldn't carry one on belt when at Asda hehe. Check out Heinnie Haynes etc.
great little stove and what the hell does a knife have to do with this video lol.I'm from the upper peninsula of Michigan nobody tells us what we can and cannot have, we are all survivalist living here and we don't take crap from anybody.
Hey Ben I have a grate idea for a video/survival kit challenge. I have recently went back and watch your altods survival kit video and that got me thinking what else could you put a survival kit into. Well I was citing in my room and I had my tennis balls there and I thought why not make a EDC tennis ball survival kit. All I will do is slit the top then stuff what ever I need in the tennis ball. This is helpful because if you have every been somewhere where they do not allow fire or anything like that who would think to look in a tennis ball. Well Ben that is all from me tell me if you like the idea and if you end up marking a tennis ball survival kit can you share some of the credit.
I hate the fact that all of the awesome wood stoves, and much of the other cool gear you review, is not available in Denmark, or the rest of Europe :( But had a stainless stove made for me :P
jim McMillen it works man. all i can tell ya. i got lots of titanium cookware that was expensive but i like the ultra low weight and the fast cooling over the SS. the SS version is just as good cooking wise.

+sameold77 the ss is just as good but not as light. yes I don't even use a knife, I just break sticks.
It is impressive how fast that stove cools down. Thanks for the review :)

+Thomas Merrick they are so great arent they?
Just seeing this video. Great video. I had bought a solo stove, but am now going to switch to this stove. Thank you for the great video.
The trangia actually fits into the esbit burner plate notches (I'm certain it's designed that way) the plate just allows you to use esbit tabs
+flashdamingo yep, i goofed on that part. thanks.
I love those stove designs thanks for posting.
i have to say i do like the winter back packing videos, i live in Ireland and we don't get much if any snow so its nice to see some winter back packing vids.
+Kenneth Donnelly coolness. thanks.
I use the little one. It works quite well for me, i always make sure it is on a firm base, it can tip over when you put a pot on it.
ha! thats a badass little stove, takes up almost no room in a pack too
+Tom Tomson right.
Awesome stove! Build up a great coal base! While still being really compact and small. If I had the money I would buy it!
Ok, I'm convinced, I'm gonna fork out the money and order one of these little guys. I like the minimalist design of this stove and the size would work perfect for my solo hikes. Thanks for the review, bud!
you will enjoy it.
Just got my Stainless version for under $40.. Loving it so far!
Got this on the kickstarter ....it's a neat pocket size stove ....and there's enough room in the pouch for a few other items too
+flashdamingo great stove for sure.
I have the Bushbox and enjoy it as well. Thanks for sharing
Great compact stove! Perfect for boiling up some water for sure!
+SouthPaw Bushcraft definitely the nicest small stove i have used.
I put my Trangia alcohol stove in the upper slots, which creates a very rigid stove

This stove is lighter than the Trangia Triangle
I've had my eye on this one. It looks like a great little stove.
+Blue Mountain Bushcraft and Outdoors It's a great stove for sure.
Nice! Picking mine up tomorrow morning, gf got me this for valentines. Can't wait to cook on it.
+BlackRifle Survival You will love it.
Living Survival I bet I will. Even more happy to know it cools to the touch very fast.
Did you happen to put a trangia on the plate? I'm interested to see the distance between the burner and the bottom of the pot, and nobody has shown that.
+Lellobeetle sent you a pm on the forums.
Looks like a great little compact stove, great video.
+Ultimate Survivalist works fantastic.
You just made me buy it...thanks for the great review! I was really curious about the cool off time - a minute??? That's great!
Really quickly.
Great video on this little stove. I have a Trangia 27 kit but received another Trangia burner last Christmas as a gift. Been looking at little stick n' spirit burners for a while and now I have more of a reason to get one. Just came across your channel, +1 sub from me.
Nice little stove thanks Ben
Good video, I have the original Emderlit stove it works great.
+Jeff Buzzard Agreed.

+Tom Pawlowski oh man they are both excellent.
Nice video. I just bought an esbit spirit stove. Looks like it could work well. I wish it had been made in Germany like the pocket stove.
+Michael Kaspshak check out bushcraft essentials they are made in germany.
Great demo 👍
Ben.. any thoughts on how this compares with the Firebox Nano Titanium?
+ShamanX never tried a nano.
@@livingsurvival would be the best comparable stove to review it against 👍🏻
i have the full size titanium, but this would be an excellent addition
+Kraka069 for sure.
how much slower is the cool down time for stainless steel?
Great review, Ben! This is the one I've been eyeing. Mark
+Kram Rentip DO IT!
Looks great thanks 👍🐾🐾
+Drew Lucero thanks Drew.

Yep. I actually keep this in the front sleeve of my heavy cover pouch.
Living Survival thank you for replying. I’m definitely looking at this stove. This or the nano
iPac9mm lol I bought two and love them
iPac9mm nice. I bought the titanium fire ants they fit perfect in my center line systems mother so they work great with my canteen kits. iPac9mm good to know thank you
Nice stove! Which do you like better between that and the Toaks Titanium Stove that fits in the 750mL pot?
nice little stove....
very good video, just recently ordered one from mass drop for $49.99.........
+ben terwellen nice deal.
Great video congrats again !!!

+Boyd Hudson never had anything pathfinder.
Thanks Ben, Nice stove - now to find one haha
+Chris Lee (Apocalypse Graphics-Medic) lol
What do you do as far as cleaning the stove and pots? Should I bother?
I do clean them up a bit with a scotch brite pad and water.
Jammin lil stove!
have always wanted to try one of those stoves out. great vid ben and how much is this stove
+outfiitter23 the prices vary on both the ss and titanium. i think this one is around $60

This stove vs Ti Nano X-case??
Love your channel wish I could get into stuff like this unfortunately I live in the uk where the knife laws are too strict!!!

Do you have a special day that your going to do the give away or whenever you want
+Elias Torres will be today or tomorrow.
+Living Survival ok thanks
I hate the fact that all of the awesome wood stoves, and much of the other cool gear you review, is not available in Denmark, or the rest of Europe :(
But had a stainless stove made for me :P
+TobiBoy 1312 Yeah that is certainly annoying!
Some day I'll go to the US and buy it all :D
+TobiBoy 1312 I love the fact that God crated internet and the postal service :)
Yeah, i know, but everytime I order something from non-EU (also Norway) I have to pay a shitload in taxes and all that good stuff..
I know... it is expensive but it is possible to get something if I really want it. For me it is expensive to buy from the EU as well :(
Now if someone could just make a flat folding pot to put on it!!!
For no more the what they are they sure are pricey.
+jim McMillen titanium = $$$
thin titanium = pricey
I mean really is there 70.00 worth?
jim McMillen it works man. all i can tell ya. i got lots of titanium cookware that was expensive but i like the ultra low weight and the fast cooling over the SS. the SS version is just as good cooking wise.
