I love watching videos like these because everyone's list is usually different in a lot of ways. It gives me ideas of different weapons to try out that i may not of tried yet.
I always enjoy watching you explain your reasons why you love or use a weapon, its always insightful and well thought out with all the perks and pros to using the archetype of the weaponry. Keep being Awesome Dawg
I think what I appreciate about your content is it’s very analytical and well thought out. I was day 1 D1 for awhile before I stopped gaming but since I got back into it recently, D2 was a game I decided to give a run because of your videos and I’m loving it. I appreciate the Found Verdict praise. Has been my favorite pvp shotty since it came out and it hasn't changed. It and Rose is probably my favorite combo in the game.
Honestly, pog content creator for putting the weapon names in the chapters of the vid on the seek bar to allow viewers to see all of them at a glance without watching the vid... but I'm still gonna watch the vid and or have Fallout talk in the background of me lamenting over my non-existent vault space. Great vid!
So I'm a PC player but I use controller 90% of the time because I prefer to be more relaxed on the couch even in PvP. The Round Robin is still my go to weapon with the most PvP kills, I think I enjoy it more than my igneous hammer. The gun feels amazing, very sticky if you are within its range band, especially with opening shot
I love round robin. For a while it didnt quite click for me, i wanted to love it so much, but i juse couldnt get it. I tried a bunch of roles, a bunch of different stat splits, couldnt figure it out. Two days ago i put counterbalance on it instead of quick access sling. Now its the best 120 i have.
@@jmuk3571 it took me a while to get used to them as well. Id suggest really focussing on landing your shots, even to the point of taking a long time to aim. You will lose gunfights, but that doesn’t matter because you will get better. Over time you will get faster at this, and you will be able to fire pretty much max RPM and aim just fine. Also, invest into a higher stability hand cannon. Austringer is great for this, if you dont have it, go get it. It can get silly high stability. As you get better at aiming, you can feel free to use lower and lower stability hand cannons, allowing for higher range, which in the long run is going to me beneficial to your gameplay. Focus on your crits, learn to peak shoot, and try out a bunch of different hand cannons. They are a lot about feel, similar to sniper rifles, so what you like might be different than what other people like. Personally i actually really struggle with the rose hand cannon, despite it being very good objectively, for example.
Witherhoard has been my No.1 since launch, but recently gave way to the Sunshot for the ridiculous ad clear you get from the ignitions and explosions. If I'm not running a Solar build, I'm using Witherhoard. I'm at the point I can land a blob on a knights head, whilst midair, from clean across the map, and boy does that feel good to do. Easily my favourite weapon in D2 ever.
1:33:16 you might be familiar with regular edging. Now, coming to a dominatrix near you: EAGER EDGING!!!!! I feel so dumb, but i laughed way too hard every time fallout mentioned eager edging

My Round Robin is weird. I use Keep Away and Hatchling in PvP with odd success. Though I don't use it in Trials...or any HC for that matter. I find the Hatchling will tag a lot of people and I can usually easily chain two kills without reloading. Got to say I am surprised that Ace of Spades did not make the list.
I cant live without Trace Rifles. Im a double special til I die enthusiast and for 99.9% of PvE content, Im playing with my Riptide/Until Its Return, an exotic power weapon, and a Trace Rifle that matches the element of power weapon. Im thrilled that we have a legendary trace for every slot now too.
I love how honest this list is. These are his favorite weapons and he admits when the weapons do the work for you in certain ways on top of when its obvious if a weapon is weaker then something currently meta but he loves using it anyway. Also as someone who fought tooth and nail to get their lemon arc in black armory and refused to put it down afterwards I'm SOOOOOOO looking forward to how much complaining people will do about thorn when the catalyst drops. Especially after living through the d1 days of Thorn V. Last Word that got ALL hand cannons nerfed. 2 crits and die to burn from neutral used to be such a frustrating thing to deal with but man some days I miss wanting to use thorn for keks in pvp regardless of how bad the sandbox is at the time.
I've never really cared about PVP but whenever I do hop in I always grab my Autumn Wind. So hearing about Peace of Mind I'm going to have to grab it and give it a try
I'm a huge fan of coldheart. My warlock is my pve character, and coldheart just absolutely melts adds. (Which is ironic since it's a cryo weapon. Lol.) My build is based around it, frankly because thats the only way to maximize its potential. But man.. does it feel absolutely satisfying to watch those swarms of red bar enemies turn into a screen full of traces~
Final warning. It is slept on so hard. Unravels enemies and does a shit ton damage. The only downside is that it wont be much good past mid range. That and QS are best for strand synergy
Great video - a sincere approach, a thoughtful analysis presented clearly and without jargon, USEFUL information that even a PvE dweeb like me can apply immediately. What is most striking to me is that you, Fallout, really pay attention to other people with whom you play, and you are OK telling everybody. In other words, you point out when and how a weapon can help the entire team: "...it will give your team more time" or "...you can stand back and plink without getting killed while your team does...". Your greatest strength is your honest vulnerability. Take it from an old guy whose kids are way older than you are: you're not just a good player, Fallout, you are a good person who happens to play an interesting and sophisticated video game very well indeed. A few others like you - Datto, Nomad, a couple more - but not many. Thanks.
This is like the biggest meta slave list i could have expected. No disparity in here, no psi hermetic v, no fire and forget, no wardens law, etc... Its like aside from drang you are allergic to pulse rifles and side arms. Its your list and i support anyone who plays anyway they want, just was hoping youd have a list with a few hidden gems or non meta weapons id like to try out. Mostly just over used exotics like witherhoard tho.
I love fighting lion, it feels like the only weapon you can use to counter cracked out snipers that just sit and lane one area. Just spam bounce shots around corners till they move or you get a tag.
I used to love my shayura's but they forced that god awful reticle on my eyes and I can't see myself using it until they give us have custom reticle or at least a select to choose from
I am a controller player and I enjoy 120 HC on controller they are very consistent if people give a chance to HC on controller you will not be disappointed at all .

I believe I am the only player left using aggressive scouts but I just love my Long Arm so much. Only time I take it off is when I wanna 2 tap with Combined Action
I've found a really fun roll with Long Arm in Under Pressure + High Impact Reserves. When you spawn, shoot until you're down to like, 6 rounds in the magazine. Then you just top up 3 or 4 rounds after every gunfight and keep the perks active pretty much 24/7. It's great
I love the fatebringer i Mainer that back in d1 and I’ll still break it out every now and again I actually love the feel of the gun I like frenzy more then firefly but that’s me it works better for me not saying firefly isn’t great as well
Good list. I think my adds would be the revamped Age-old Bond, Dead Messenger w/ Demo, and Outbreak Perfected. Honorable mention to my Black Armory archive in the vault.
As someone who plays only controller, I can confirm Round Robin does not feel as good as it should to me (and I feel I do better with Austringer/Rose, not sure if it's because of the input, or because I barely use 120s, or I'm just more familiar with Austringer/Rose or some combination there-of). I've been a NTTE enjoyer (probably the Primary that has the most PvP kills for me) and it still feels good post-nerf. Banshee actually sold a Surrounded roll that was otherwise identical to the Relentless/Whirlwind Guillotine and I replaced my old roll with that one.
Some of my PvE guns I can't live without that you didn't mention are Brigand's law with voltshot, Zaouli's/Sunshot after the handcannon buffs, Succession cause for some reason I find myself using it way more than I'd expect, and Hollow Denial/Path of Least Resistance (pre-double spec nerf), and Collective Obligation for triple debuffs (insta proc from controlled demo/undermining suppression nades).
For me, the Calus Mini-Tool is entirely supplanted by my Golden Tricorn Summoner. Especially in solo content (Alacrity makes it feel *so* good). It's pretty much my go-to for any solar build. From bonk, to snap, to 'splodey knives. As our Lord and Savior Todd Howard would say, "It Just Works."

Occluded Finality is so slept on. I play m&k and a handling nasterwork under pressure/opening shot occluded is my favorite sniper since I moved to PC

Witherhoard is gun I can rely on when I'm not sure what to run so I'll use witherhoard combined with whatever primary is a champ mod

Round robin, targeted redaction and igneous hammer got me hooked on 120s. I have about 6k kills on hand cannons, around 5k of those are on 120s.

Truthteller is the GOAT! I have that roll but with proximity so it's my top 3 weapon for both PVE and PVP.
The solar GL I've got Prox and blinding(3rd column ) so it's so versatile for PvP/E but basically the same

The rifle was just battle rifle in halo 2, bxr was the melee cancel into burst combo you could do

Forbearance is the king shlong - got a god roll after my first raid compl.
This makes me want to shift through my endless trash and actually use enjoyable weapons again and start having fun again.
