after sitting over winter mine would only run for 1 second, seemed flooded.
If remove the plug, wait and try again same thing. Replace the carb and nothing.
Changed the plug and runs perfect. Always try the plug first!

Ethanol gas turns to varnish quick without fuel stabilizer almost like glue . I recommend stabil in your gas.

I had a no start on mine, after sitting for a year. I cleaned the carburetor, and still wouldn’t start. I checked the engine compression and had no compression. Pulled the valve cover off and found a stuck valve. I sprayed WD40 on it and tapped it with a 1/4” extension and small hammer. That did the trick.

My mini bike worked perfect, had it in storage for about 2months, runs only with choke on
Bought new carb after cleaning the old one that wouldnt work....new spark plug and still wont run. Fuel tank was cleaned and its flowing good.
Only with choke open 🤔 it stays idling

Have you checked your valve lash ? If it runs with the choke on its somthing simple .

You need to put some oil at each end of the clutch.
Need the crankcase there’s a thrust bearing. Put a drop or two there. And at the outer most end of the shaft between the clutch and the big washer on the end.
I put a drop the spray a little WD40 to wash it in then another drop.
If your sound is a screeching that’s what it is.
