Imprison Zamazenta, the coolest tech you've never heard of

- What's the best counter to Zamazenta? That's right, Zamazenta! Imprison Zamazenta fully shuts down other Zamazenta like no other Pokémon can, quite literally. Imprison prevents your opponent from using any moves your current Pokémon has while its out on the field (and no, your opponent cannot switch out to end it). If Imprison goes first, it also stops your opponent from using its current move if it shares it with you (just like Taunt prevents Status moves the turn of). So if you have Body Press and Iron Defense Zamazenta, your opposing Zamazenta can't do any meaningful damage to you, and if you have Roar in the fourth slot, you can't be forced out either. Sure you can't hit Ghosts, but it really doesn't matter, you're Zamazenta after all! The team is built around Zamazenta, killing Ghosts and luring opponents to play for their Zamazenta end game before you completely shut it down and revenge sweep. This includes Rillaboom for extra recovery, Kingambit as a faux end game win condition, Great Tusk for hazard control, Gholdengo to eliminate other Ghosts and Slowking-G for pivoting.

I’ve toyed around with Moonblast in the calcs, but I could not find a single reason to run it. In the mirror matchup, Roar or Imprison Roar is better. Everything else, Body Press +Iron Defense is better.

@@Mr502 This is why I run Max Hp, Max Speed, Choice Scarf Chimeco with Heal Bell, Healing Wish + Thunder Wave, Encore. It is a bit silly and it is meant as a sac but it can bring back your statused mons into action!
Bro just use roar
This solves the risk of coming in and eating a +3 Body Press and accidentally bringing in a special attacker. (But yes, just Roar is probably better.)
Nah when it’s last mon you’re screwed if they get iron defense before you. I might take this tech
