You’re breathtaking work at Mackinac Island, Your ideas make it seem so easy but it’s not so I’d rather watch you do it but I never knew you were in southern Florida in the winter which is where I live beautiful work you do for sure.. you just have a God given gift..🌴

    My favorite place ever on earth would be Marco Island. First visit was in 2016 and I have been there every year multiple times through out ever since. Everyone is so friendly and it is truly a breathtaking place. Sunsets on Marco are the BEST.

    Just saw this Jack! When I lived in West Palm I discovered I had THE most beautiful gardenia bush at my front door! When I was a girl the only time I remember seeing a gardenia flower was when my Mother would receive one as a corsage for a special occasion. What a dream it was to have an entire bush FULL of those creamy luscious white blooms at my own front door! That and the beautiful frangipani trees were amazing.

    You have the best of both worlds. Summers on Mackinac, and winters in Florida. Hopefully we’ll get updates throughout winter like you do on the island. It’s so refreshing to see some color during Michigan’s gray winters. I’m sooooo jealous 😆

    Well, I'm sitting in the house and there's snow on the ground up here in the Texas Panhandle and it's cold! I haven't decided if I like seeing all this tropical warmth and beauty or if I'm just plain jealous!

    We spend 3 months out of the year in Marathon Florida, this will be the first year in 20years we will not go. I miss the warmth and fresh fish and the color in every thing from there. Your pots are so beautiful. Will you come back to show how the pots filled out later?

    Ya just make me Laugh so much...Thank you....Will the "Dombaya" grown in North Carolina thur our winter....I'm 7B....Most of the winters are calm and not bitter (can be sometimes) I am so you share this plant...I've never heard of it.

    Welcome back to FL! Love the potting arrangements. I've got a question for you. I bought the toasted sesame seed oil to try your salmon recipe. Holy cow, the oil is so good! What other types of recipes do you include it in? I didn't know what to expect and the flavor is so unique. I can imagine it in some simple salad dressings. I want to incorporate it in more cooking. Any suggestions?

      Yes~ simple salad dressing work well, especially with crunchy kales and choppy romaine, but it also is perfect paired with coconut oil for a slow simmer of stir fry~

      Dombeya! You might be able to get away with it in Houston, but certainly need to cover it with any chill/frost. It is a zone 10!

      These particular clients are not Mackinac clients, we actually only have one Florida client who lives on Mackinac in the Summer!

      We use Proven Winners Premium All Purpose Potting Soil and Proven Winners Premium Continuous Release Plant Food in our soil and Water Soluble Plant Food for foliar feeding!
