I have classic 2015 model, 40 km / litre on highways seems reasonable. Your silencer is aftermarket which will reduce fuel average. In city your milege will be 35 to 38 kmpl, this is my experience. Further there are numerous other parameters which contribute to milege right from tyre pressure onwards.

Yes the silencer is aftermarket it is installed to get low noise... And in city the mileage which I get is 30 to 32 (bumper to bumper) in rare case I will get 35...
Engine oil drain interval is very important factor in mileage.. semi synthetic oil is adviced to change 5000kms or 6 months whichever comes first.. but 5000kms is not driven all time.. mostly I will get oil changed between 3000 to 3700kms.. depending on the driving pattern if it is city use or frequent high way use..
So far I have used motul which is good and shell at once when i bought to Chennai.
Also seen many in online reviews that servo is good for bullet. Not tried so far..
