In most of the degree courses like BA and BSc, 3 years itself is unnecessary as teachers try to inculcate theory lessons day after day with no importance to the practical application of these topics. Even the labs are done just a week before exams came.
If you are going for the so-called college memories portrayed by some films, you will regret after the degree as you understand these years are just theory learning, and no skills were developed. Moreover in kerala colleges you can study

2. Notorious ragging
These two are glorified as college culture and no way to change as people aspire for these behaviors, not civilized behavior and academic excellence 💯💯💯

I'm a 4 year BS Hons Major in Physics grad. Our university followed US based curriculum. Many courses in our programme were of Masters level. We had innovative courses like Quantum Computing, Machine learning etc... Which is rarely available in any Indian universities.

That's why I did BS Hons major in Physics which is a 4 year research programme. Most of the courses is masters level. Since it follows US based curriculum, Thesis was an important criteria for degree.
