    nice vid! I have this jacket myself and I have a little tip for you. If you turn one of the big hand- warmer pockets inside- out, you can actually pack the jacket into that :) works really well!

      Thats kind of you and appreciated. Sometimes companies aren't allowd to suggest that, because it sometimes compromises the integrity of the stitching at the seam.

    Very similar to an Arcteryx atom lt
    Looks good!

    Excelent rewiew… do you think that keb padded hoodie can be used under ksogso jacket.., like second layer…?
    Thanks

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 2 lety

      Yup, you could add the Skogso over the top for additional weather protection and durability.

    Hi All, another great review. Would you consider reviewing the Fjallraven Keb Eco-Shell Jacket? thanks :)

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 5 lety

      We don't currently stock any of Fjallraven's Eco Shell range, but if we do in the future we'll make sure to get one done.

    How would this compare in terms of warmth to the atom AR? From what I understand the AR is significantly warmer than the LT, so would this be more similar to the LT or AR?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Joe, the Keb jacket is closest in warmth to the Atom LT. Thanks for watching.

    No waist drawcord ..... Unforgivable! I have the Keb fleece hoody, Keb touring down jacket and Keb Eco-shell. Having no waist drawcord is the only thing that stopped me from ditching my arcteryx atom LT for the Keb padded.

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 2 lety +1

      That's fair enough. It is elasticated, but a drawcord is useful. Harry

    Does the inside of the hood have fleece? PS: if not it creates/amplifies the rubbing sound when the hood is on. Thxs!

    Hi! Really nice video. Between this jacket, Atom AR and Thorium AR which would you recommend?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 5 lety

      It depends! The Atom isn't as warm as the Thorium, but will still provide warmth when wet, whereas the Thorium won't. The Thorium is also a better piece for slower moving activities due to its warmth.

    How is it for breathability and drying? Does it wick sweat from the body very well?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 2 lety +1

      Really good breathability; on par if not a little higher than the Arc'teryx Atom LT, if you're familiar with that. Your baselayer will have more of an impact wicking away sweat, but it rarely feels clammy or sweaty. Harry

      @Trekitt right on thanks! I'll order one up for midlayer! Much appreciated:)

    I know you also reviewed Mammut Rime In Flex jacket. Which one would you pick between the two? Which one between those two would you say is more general purpose all rounder? Thank you!

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 4 lety +1

      I'd say the Keb is the more 'general purpose' jacket, but both are fantastic all-rounders and there's not much separating them. It mainly comes down to which one fits you best, but you won't be disappointed with either! Kind regards, Harry.

    How would you rate the weather resistant capability for this jacket? Would this jacket be suitable for a weekender in Seattle during January-March?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 5 lety

      I'm afraid I'm not familiar with Seattle weather conditions, however the Keb Padded Hoodie will resist light showers for around 10-15 minutes before it begins to penetrate through. It's far better as a midlayer than an outer layer when the weather isn't on your side.

      This is hilarious. I live in Seattle too and am close to buying this today and wondered the exact same thing for the exact same usage. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger. I tried it on yesterday and super comfortable. Thx for vid review too! Not much out there on this jacket.

    What’s the warmth like on this jacket compared to the atom LT and atom AR?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 4 lety

      Similar to the Atom LT but without the air-permeable side panels. Kind regards, Harry.

  • @nestorgarcia2621

    Is it good for wind and rain?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 4 lety +1

      It features a wind and water resistant outer fabric so it'll provide some protection from both, but not absolute waterproofing and windproofing. It will fit nicely under a shell if you need total protection though. Kind regards, Harry.

    What gloves is Paul wearing?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 5 lety

      He's wearing a pair of Black Diamond Stance gloves. We don't stock these anymore, however a very similar option is the Montane Prism which you can find here: www.trekitt.co.uk/32915/products/montane-mens-prism-glove-black.aspx
