Had both my horses riding one handed when they were 4 year Olds. Still had to help them once in a while an use both hands to steer, didn't take long and they were completely one handed riding.

Thanks again Tim, I have been riding in Romal reins this year because I tend to have my right arm a little to high with the split reins when showing I think because I get nervous. The Romal reins make me feel secure for some reason and my horse does well with the split or Romal. I have had the popper end of the Romal get stuck in my spur a couple of times. I am always working on improving everything I do.

My horse is scared of the electric hair trimmers. And I have rubbed it all over him with them of and then with them on, and he rears. What do I do?? I have tried everything.
