Houstonian would never forget 3rd May, when 03 World Fame poets were here and an audience of about 600 people were there to listen to these great poets. It was named JAHSN-E-DR. PEERZADA QASIM, Amjad Islam Amjad specially attended this Jashn. He was Chief Guest, Presided by Dr. Abdul Hameed Qureshi.Ghazanfar Hashmi from Pakistan, Zakia Ghazal
from Canada, Dr. Abdullah from Washington DC, Khalid Khaja from Los Angles, Farhat Shehzad from New Jersey were the honorable Guest of this Mushaira. It was Organized by Taqdees-e-Adab Taqdees e Adab International Houston USA.
Mushiara Highlights
A gigantic banner of Taqdees-e-Adab was creating a very nice impression.
Mushiara started at 9:30PM
03 people delivered speeches and special articles on Dr. Peerzada and his great services for Urdu Poetry. Dr. Zafar Taqvi, Fozia Syed, and Dr. Khursheed Omer gave the speeches
Dr. Abdullah, Amjad Islam Amjad and Farhat Shehzad congratulated Houston and Dr. Peerzada for This Jashn event.
Zakia Ghazal with her melodious voice gave a MANZOOM dedication to Dr. Peerzada.
First part of the Nizamt was conducted by Vice President of Taqdees-e-Adab International, Basit Jalili who was also the man behind this whole project financially.
2nd Part of the Nizamat was done by IBN-E-MUFTI.
TV-One Team was covering the whole event.
All the Media including Pakistan News, Pakistan Journal, Urdu times, Light Of Islam was there to cover the event.
Local Pride also was there to support the event.
Tarannum Shabbir, Rana A Naushad, Syed Ahmed Shah Ghazali, Dr. Khalid Razvi, Altaf Bukhari, Neelofar Neelofer Afshan Naqvi, Hina Rizvi, Farah D. Iqbal, Dr. Ghulam Sarwar, Masroor Brailvi, Aqeel Ashraf, Asee Rizvi, Tasnim Abidi, Fozia Syed, Dr. Taqvi, Khursheed Ome, Basit Jalili and Syed Ayaz Mufti, was among the local poets.
Zaikia Ghazal stole the Mushira with her short but concise poetry, People really enjoyed by her poetry.
Farahat Abbas, Amjad Islam Amjad and Dr, Peerzada Qasim were given the standing ovations whenever they came on the stage.
Audience really enjoyed by Khalid Khawja, Ghazanfar Hashmi and Dr, Abdallah's poetry.
Two special Awards were also given to Dr, Peerzada and Amjad Islam Amjad for their services for Urdu Poetry.
Nizamat of Basit Jalili was a very healthy experience by Taqdees-e-Adab and
people really appreciated by the people. Basit Jalili Nazm was something that was highly applauded by the audience.
Nizamat of Ibn-e-Mufti was also liked and enjoyed by the audience.
Mushaira ended at 2AM.
Finallay there was photo session and the fans of the poets got their pictures with their favorite poet.
